I am going to guess the July 14 CPI is 5.3% +-0.2
I will also guess the spin will be "last month the CPI went from 4.2 to 5.0 so this 5.0 to 5.3 change shows inflationary pressures are going down.".
Of course, really 5.3% inflation is higher than 5.0% inflation, so inflation is not going down. Really we will be getting a higher number even though there are less "base effects", which ought to scare people. Not sure how many months the spin can keep people from realizing there is inflation. Maybe a few more.
