21-Jan-18 World View -- Turkey begins invasion of Syria while China lies about 'indisputable sovereignty'
Re: 21-Jan-18 World View -- Turkey begins invasion of Syria while China lies about 'indisputable sovereignty'
I wonder what the fighting in WWIII will be like. Is it going to be a mix of the previous world wars? Also, will the U.S be fighting on three fronts with Mexico's problems entering the southwest along side fighting in Asia and Middle East?
Re: 21-Jan-18 World View -- Turkey begins invasion of Syria while China lies about 'indisputable sovereignty'
The Mexicans will be the enemy within. The average American will suffer because of the stupidity of the SJW's and the greed of CEOs.
Re: 21-Jan-18 World View -- Turkey begins invasion of Syria while China lies about 'indisputable sovereignty'
I'm not aware of any possible reason why the Mexicans, when forced to
choose between fighting on the side of the Chinese versus fighting on
the side of the Americans, would choose the Chinese. That idea makes
no sense whatsoever.

Quick question. Have you ever attempted to predict the course of the CoC War? As in who will win and who will lose? What is your opinion on this matter?

The following are some mostly emotional personal thoughts on theDaKardii wrote: > Hey, John. It's been a while, but I'm back.

First, "winning" a war is almost always meaningless in the decades
that follow. If it's a civil war between ethnic groups, then the
civil war starts again with low-level violence during the Awakening
era, and the country is little changed from how it was before the
civil war.
If it's an external war, then the conquerers intermarry with the
local population, and within a couple of generations nothing has
changed. Either way, the war changed nothing.
For decades, people have said that if the Nazis had won WW II, then
people in France would be speaking German. That's laughable. If it
were true, then the people in Eastern Europe would all be speaking
Russian, since the Russians essentially did in Eastern Europe what the
Nazis tried to do in Western Europe. At any rate, if the Nazis had
won, then they would have had a huge mess on their hands during the
Awakening era, and the victory would have fallen apart just as
Russia's victory in Eastern Europe fell apart.
In the coming war, China is going to be fighting a ground war within
China itself, as well as with India, Japan, Philippines, Vietnam, and
other countries. China will be too busy fighting itself and its
neighbors to send an expeditionary army to North America.
However, China will launch probably dozens of nuclear missiles at
American cities and bases. In America, there will be millions of
refugees, lots of starvation, disease and violence from marauding
gangs. But I would expect the country to survive.

I don't get this. Even with current internal tensions wouldn't an external force lead to internal unity? Fight and try to win then battle for control internally afterword?John wrote:DaKardii wrote: > Hey, John. It's been a while, but I'm back.

You're right. An external war will unify the sides withinCrouchingTiger wrote: > I don't get this. Even with current internal tensions wouldn't an

the country.
What happened in World War II is that the civil war between
Chiang Kai-shek and Mao Zedong began in 1934, but was put on
hold when the Japanese invaded, and then was taken up again
in 1945.
But during the Japanese invasion, there was still a great deal of
hostility between the two sides, with each side allowing the other
side to be attacked by the Japanese. Although there wasn't a full
civil war, there wasn't any real unity either, and it weakened the
Chinese fight against the Japanese.

China will be internally unified, for a short time.John wrote:You're right. An external war will unify the sides withinCrouchingTiger wrote: > I don't get this. Even with current internal tensions wouldn't an

Although there wasn't a full
civil war, there wasn't any real unity either, and it weakened the
Chinese fight against the Japanese.
Those (Chinese) who have been "knocked around" by nuclear explosions will be "annoyed" by the "Senators' Sons" strange fortune at finding radiation free accommodations, and eventually rebel (as best they can) against their less "glowing" former-comrades.
Turning the "men in the countryside" against their "men in boxes" fellow countrymen will (should!?) be a high priority.
The Chinese are not like North Koreans.
