For some reason "Ottoman Turk" was deleted from the sentence two times. A glitch?

The sentence should read: The Albanians fought against the Ottoman Turks harder than anyone, and they were the last to fall. The Albanians, even the Muslim Albanians, fought against the Ottoman Turks and never gave up fighting for their independence. g

Hypothetical or something else? Both.

I have a lot of experience in Balkan affairs. Personally dealing with these people and horrifying situations. I know the players well. Nothing that goes on there surprises me anymore. When I came there, I had only studied the history; I had no personal connections. (Through, by chance, I had met Serbs and Macedonians in America before). I can't go into specifics of what I was doing because I know that would not be a good idea for me personally. What I am saying is there are bad guys there. And the Bosnian Muslims and Albanians are not the bad ones. Not by any measure.

The coming wars will be Serb lead campaigns of mass rape and genocide. Again. Only this time I doubt America will do anything. Without American leadership, Europe will do nothing.

Europeans like to pose. Smoke cigarettes at a jaunty angle, and pose. They do nothing. Europeans hold conferences at five star hotels, and pose for the cameras. They quote long dead philosophers to journalists and each other, hoping to be quoted in a newspaper article or shallow memoir. Oh, and they practice their poses in hotel lobby mirrors.

The war drags on until America decides to stop it. Only this time, I don't think America will. But, I think one country will intervene militarily, and it will turn everything on its head. Turkey will attack. Greece and Cyprus will be trampled, mere speed bumps on the way to battle. Serbia, made up bullies and cowards, will crumble. Perhaps Russia will intervene.

Perhaps Western Europe will get to experience the mass rape, torture, and genocide the Bosnian Muslims endured in the 90s when Europe and America forbid the Muslims from getting weapons to defend themselves. Perhaps. I don't use templates the way you do, John. But I do believe in Karma.

If you're suggesting that I deleted these words from your post, it's
hard for me to imagine anything that I would be less likely to do.

That's not necessarily true.
  • World War I was a generational crisis war for the Balkans.
  • World War II was an Awakening era war for the Balkans.
  • The Bosnian war was another generational crisis war for the
Balkans, and an Unraveling era war for the Europeans.
  • The next war will be an Awakening era war for the Balkans, but a
    crisis war for the Europeans.
So if you'd like to get some idea of how the Serbs and the Europeans
will behave in the next war, don't look at the Bosnian war. Instead,
do some research on how they behaved in World War II.

Could "guest" have deleted "Ottoman Turk" from his/her own post to be able to claim "censorship victimhood" by the "evil" John?

..hmmmm..

I would suggest, "guest", that you simply state facts, as you know them, and provide sources as to why you consider your facts to be facts.

You're obviously anti-Serb, anti-Russian, anti-European in general, and only pro-US when they stomp on the Serbs, Russians and lead the Poser Europeans to stop wars by Serbs and Russians.

..just state your case, and keep the emotions on low simmer, please. :)

I understand the "need" of the young, such as yourself, to be effusive and morally indignant, but it really doesn't help, and it's the very reason that Generational Dynamics describes the way humanity works so well.

Two groups of people tend to indignation; The young "get 'er done!" group, and the just-about-to-die generation who can't control the youth any longer.

Your misspelling of "there" (you used "their"), more than once, is typical of the young. My guess is that's your group.

And you are completely wrong, Sherlock. Your arrogance is astounding. Your analysis is worthless. You are an idiot. You're nothing but a talker. You're just pompous. (Yeah, the Hawaiian doesn't impress me.) You should get a job working for the EU. You would fit right in. All talk, posing, and achieving nothing. Have you even been to the Balkans? I doubt it. I doubt you've done anything. Now go back to the bar; the ice in your drink is melting.

That part is accurate! :)

<chuckle!>

Your "kind" is just as predictable as the melting of ice cubes...

Na pomaikaʻi ia ʻoe! Aloha to you, ia ʻoe, whether you want it or not. :)

The lack of a real response was exactly what I expected.

Give me some hints as to what a "real response" would look like. :) Be as detailed as possible.

..I aim to please!

Aloha!
