I noticed the white flag flying on top of the Brooklyn Bridge today. I guess the general populace has figured out that they have been sold down the river.

Isis won't bother America. They will only kill Americans who attack them over there. The attacks on America will come from Eastern Europe, Asia, and the hordes of illegals pouring over the border and effectively destroying the economy, medical system, and schools. How much more can American taxpayer pay out? What is left to take? Americans are broke.

Illegals are a much bigger threat to Americans than anyone or anything else. Illegals and the diseases they carry (many of them untreatable with antibiotics) are straight out of H.G. Wells' War of the Worlds: a mighty war machine brought down by invisible plagues. Defeated by mindless diseases. That's part of how America will end. The Muslims don't need to do anything else. (Well, perhaps, they could disrupt the oil supply enough to bring down the global economy, but at this point, with dwindling oil supplies, that will happen anyway.)

One need only Google the stories from the British press (after all, the America press is notable for its almost complete lack of coverage). Human rights groups are still gathering testimony. I don't really need to start linking to episodes of torture from nations and tribes around the world do I? Nobody but sadists actively seek torture. Historically, America has done relatively little of it, has not publicly condoned it, has not systematically institutionalized it, and has (to an extent) prosecuted those Americans who have engaged in egregious acts of it. Nobody is denying that America and some Americans have made mistakes. How many of Bashar al-Assad's men have been prosecuted or punished by their own Syrian government for the torturing of Sunni civilians?

I have trouble believing that you ever thought Americans were gentleman anytime throughout their history. I am also having trouble deciding whether it is Israel or America you hate the most.

As for the current Israel/Palestine conflict, I think it might be quite helpful to have a table of the perceived advantages and disadvantages of both sides, should the conflict spread to the theater-wide engagement of Arabs and Jews we are speculating on. Population, technology, armaments, training, allies, fervor, terrain, surprise, weather, overconfidence, hubris, strategy, and the stakes involved; there are so many variables to account for. History is full of military victories that do not favor the larger force. Troop or population numbers alone will not be the only deciding factor in this or any conflict. As always, history repeats itself. However, which particular piece of history will win out this time eludes me for now.
