Couldn't help but chuckle at the prophetic UN meeting cited when Syria and Russia renege on this "monumental" agreement. It is either laugh or cry, and a bit of humor helps make the medicine go down.

The inglorious stupidity of those who gave these power is beyond comprehension. Thank you for the clarity, and absence of bias in the analysis; it is a rarity, and difficult to find. Though I might not always agree, the analysis is always insightful, creative, and provokes deeper reflection. The user comments are also helpful and direct attention to analytical items not widely distributed in the inept MSM.

Assad acted stupidly and those silly Russians clearly fell for the great leaders master plan and only think they came up with this revolutionary plan to bring peace once and for all to the middle east. Free at Last! Free at Last!

In you masthead you state "If we have any bias at all, it's that we're pro-American." The question is who is the "WE"? I have assumed that you have running this site alone, confused.

I am also assuming that your bias is toward the "American" ideal and not members of the government or the government as such. ( reality such as it is vs. the ideal ) I see no problem with this and think this is a very objective approach.
