the rotted fruit of the tree will not help you
.. though it wasn’t the season for figs ...
When the fig leaves appear about the end of March, they are accompanied by a crop of small knobs,
called taqsh by the Arabs, a sort of fore-runner of the real figs.
These taqsh are eaten by peasants and others when hungry.

Consider the story of Noah. When God looked down upon the earth, He was hungry for pleasure in His creation but instead saw corruption and violence. Amidst this moral decay, He found Noah, a man of righteousness, whose life bore the fruits that God desired.
In Noah, God saw integrity, faithfulness, and obedience – the very essence of spiritual fruitfulness.
Moreover, as surely as Jesus came once and approached the fig tree, He will come again, this time to gather His own.
This impending return isn’t just a distant biblical promise; it’s a looming reality.
Do not be that barren tree. You know where it goes.
