The futures have gone negative at 4142 with a low of 4140. Anything can happen, but this is the kind of reversal that can lead to a crash. I think the trap door is open.

Since the market didn't fall apart over the past 2 days, I think the bulls now have a better chance to drive it over 4200.

Giving this matter of a crash a bit more thought: Its a researched fact that private individuals buy most when the market is in a bubble and least when the market is at its bottom. There was some intense bubble buying from 3800 upwards, so I am speculating that a drop below 3800 could unleash a fair amount of private individual panic which could then unleash a crash. Also 3800 is some 21% below the peak and this alone could cause panic.
Also there is no doubt in my mind that until the USA goes into hard recession / depression there will be stubborn inflation, in fact double digits this year is a distinct possibility. So another possible scenario is that once this is internalised by investors the market crashes.
