thread:
Free will is a prerequisite for ethics, not the other way around. For many philosophers, free decisions are required to be moral decisions. They fail to distinguish between ordinary responsibilities (fiduciary, financial, leadership) and moral responsibility. This was a commonplace in ancient times. Socrates and Plato argued that "virtue is knowledge." This meant that a lack of virtue was simply a lack of knowledge. We could not be responsible for our bad actions, because we did them out of ignorance. Aristotle disagreed. He said that our bad actions could also depend on us, even when we were doing them as a matter of habits formed long ago, as long as we are at least partially responsible for forming our habits and character. The Scholastics thought that we are free when our decisions are rational. For them, good meant rational, so this was a variation of the ethical fallacy.
We are unfree and slaves to our passions when our decisions are evil. We call this the rational fallacy. w7

Conscience is the sentinel of virtue.

History, in due time, will arrange everything for the best. It does not need the advice of mortal men.
We are moving forward. Thus, a few more may simply realize the condition.

It's amazing how fast things are falling apart. The world's political
infrastructure has become exceedingly brittle, and any perturbation
causes pieces to break off and crumble. It needs a huge, bloody war
before the world can become young and healthy again.

Nationwide, there are factories and joint ventures with at least 11 foreign automakers, including General Motors, which opened a $300 million plant near St. Petersburg in November. In general, then-President Vladimir Putin set the stage for this politically driven historical bias when he referred to the collapse of the Soviet Union as the "greatest geopolitical catastrophe of the 20th century." Regarding questions of history, it seems that Medvedev is dutifully following in Putin's footsteps. And this once again demonstrates who is really calling the shots in the country. You just got to love the Moscow press. All spectrum's of Government to date are the same over sized and over confident

Did the Fabians intend to fathom the Monroe doctrine understood and asserted that the New World and the Old World were to remain distinctly separate spheres of influence as they had been composed of entirely separate and independent nations. Something the federated banks and the monolopolys of voilence called jagged pills cannot tolerate. As we know true we are not to give up on our own security to self since you deserve none if you give it up to mitigate the other social maniacs. Naive assumptions as we witness the futility and wasted capital on the so called United Nations mandated lethargys? Order From Chaos is bad enough with the current cycle. No one can supply the answer since actual nature of it will decide. Did Pharoah have to be hardened for crimes against his own people to serve notice to the actual events deserved as we see? Did not the people convey let us alone to decide since we know the MB was a Mufti curse in that land as we have seen they sorted it out all by themselves.

In that day you will be like a man who runs from a lion--only to meet a bear. Escaping from the bear, he leans his hand against a wall in his house--and he's bitten by a snake. Amos 5:19

As we are warned running from a Lion into a Bear and then a Serpant in the Levant of ones own House? I as many can consider we are spectators to the actual script of affairs to stiff neck peoples as warned. I have no answers but study and regard to some things you just have to let go since it is not our garden. We are instructed to care for it. As we see the basics of Tainter and Diamond cover enough for now. Like I conveyed to the Wife we had been fortunate on February twenty third to even have the lights come on from the kill shot of solar twenty four massive plasma ejection recodered by SOHO. Like we conveyed the shot over the bow is no stretch to imagine for those who consider our knowledge base to limited to ever comprehend the vastness we percieve as local reality. The point is you cannot expect to slaughter innocense without Judgement we can only read over and over again the consequences. The big L camp does not have the right to debaucherys at our expense and we are excused to only pay what is on the coin. It is called a market and the Consumer is said to decide it fate. It underpins out thought and actions as utility. I see limited utility in deception to those who decide that when it gets tough you must decieve. Like we seen before one day they simply stopped looking in that direction and the capital went with it since they breeched a larger contract to those who knew what was more important.

Humanity's civilization cycle may be similar to that of a Lodgepole Pine forest---- http://www.firescience.gov/projects/03- ... t_2007.pdf

Life to Death ---- Lodgepole forests usually end with a stand replacing fire every 250-300 years.

The pine cones of the lodgepole pine do not open to reseed until after a forest fire destroys the tree.

Having been in a Lodgepole pine forest a few years before a stand replacing fire ( the Great Yellowstone fire of 1988 ) it is apparent that the forest is ready to burn, the quantity of dead wood is astounding, so much so that one can't walk through the tress except upon a path. A Forest Ranger explained their predicament regarding forest service regulations. It was known to them that the forest needed small fires, to clear out the dead wood or a disastrous fire would occur. However, they were not allowed to permit small fires because the environmentalist tree huggers, who did not understand natures cycles, pressured the forest service into preventing ALL fires. If intermittent fires were allowed the Great Fire would not have occurred because the smaller fires would have reduced the quantity of dead wood. Also the Great Fire was so intense that it destroyed topsoil and cracked boulders which normal fires do not.

hmmm -- change a few words in the above and you have the world's current situation.

The wonders of creation.

cheers

Condensate may be exported if it has been run through a distillation tower, a type of refining unit, because the process "results in the crude becoming a petroleum product (that) is no longer defined as crude oil," said Commerce spokesman Jim Hock.
Refined products such as gasoline and diesel are not restricted.

Crude oil inventories have grown quickly since prices collapsed last year, and the pace has picked up in the last month as refineries’ seasonal maintenance has held down the amount of crude oil they consume.

Refiners did push toward higher utilization this week. The EIA data showed that crude refinery inputs averaged over 15.5 million barrels per day during the week ending March 20, 2015, about 94,000 barrels per day more than the previous week. Refiners operated at 89 percent of capacity last week.

Still, gasoline inventories fell by 2 million barrels last week.
