The Fed now says Nov will be 6.09%.

https://www.clevelandfed.org/our-resear ... sting.aspx

That number, or some soon higher, will scare people. They have been telling people we are going back to 2%.
Does not seem so.
This "Team Transitory" has got to be losing the credibility contest if these higher numbers really come in.

"Rivian is set to launch its initial public offering next week with a proposed valuation of just over $60 billion, according to a new report."

A company that makes 2 cars per day IPOing at $60 billion (instead of previous $80 billion) still seems like a "market top indicator" to me.

Yes, Vince. Thank you for your energy and lots of posts. We know from the analysis of more than 120 years of stock market history that higher then normal inflation, or negative inflation, brings PE ratios down to below the long term average.
So its highly probable that there will be massive deflation in stock market values, the sort of bet that you would call responsible high probability trading. Yes, but I am on the sidelines waiting and waiting and waiting. I no longer have fixed ideas on the timing. Finally, the idea that someone can flick a switch and its back at 2% is unrealistic

As we seen with yesterday the shorts got massacred and it will burn out in it own time.
More than a few watched the tiny bubbles called the consumer get annihilate from the wasting.
No we had not been early to what was dated and is now here. Not paying attention has a cost basis also.

More an few knew and know what was well underway.
Both have done this and it is no accident. We have noted news reports disappearing also. Fri Aug 02, 2013 8:20 pm
The dated response was they will pick off what's left.

CRT more than appears to be the end of the current alleged democrats.

Powell basically said that they first need to see "full employment" or "maximum employment" (which he can not define) before
they will look at inflation level.

Wow.

They are starting to cut back on purchases as expected.

"... purchases of Treasury securities by $10bn a month. The central bank will also reduce its purchases of agency mortgage-backed securities by $5bn a month. "

The FED blathering means nothing. The more they print the less they made.

We linked the two moving bots moving containers to be moved by the drivers weeks and weeks ago already.
Automated idiots choking the death out of us as 220 million Americans bitch that do nothing anyways.

1) The US is printing money and buying stuff from China.
2) China is using this money to buy US stocks.

Something crazy like 8 containers coming in from China to USA for every full container going from USA to China.

If they decide the US stocks are not a good buy (should decide this) what would they do with the money?
One person reasoned that the value of the dollar would collapse. I think as they buy up anything that they
can with dollars, the price of things will go up and the value of the dollar will go down. A crash
in the stock market may make them not want to buy US stocks. So a crash in the stock market might
trigger a crash in the dollar.

I really think we are in for "Interesting Times".

As we sort of predicted it will burn out sideways. They are not prepared.
It is estimated 200 million are simply brain dead in the sheep pens.
