In my opinion, if you're willing to kill people ruthlessly and
gratuitously, then you hate them.

** 17-Jun-2021 World View: Civic unity regeneracy

I've said this many times, but apparently few people believe me, even
in this forum.

The way it will end is with a "regeneracy event," an event that
threatens the existence of America and its way of life. This event
will cause all the woke crap to be abandoned, as the country unites to
respond to the threat.

In 1941, it was the Pearl Harbor attack and the Bataan Death March.
Today, it might be a missile attack on an American city, or it might
be a major military disaster overseas. Today, it's most likely going
to be whatever event triggers war with China.
I do quite agree with John. Once war starts with China the vast majority of Americans will rally to the flag and fight/support the fight.

But in contrast to WWII, where the rallying was almost universal, there will still be a good number of Americans who will actively work with the enemy.

In my opinion, they will be able to significantly hinder the war effort. It won't be until they are subdued that America will be able to win the war.

In 1941, Hawaii, where Pearl Harbor is, was tantamount to Guam today. Neither Japan nor Germany was able to effectively attack the mainland USA. Yet everyone was behind "Unconditional Surrender" and what it took to put both Axis Powers in that situation.

I do think the Chinese will overreach and attempt to do something against the American heartland. If nothing more than to show their own people how "powerful" they are. This will enrage Americans, who haven't had to deal with something like that for over 200 years.

Luckily for us, the bad guys always have some significant problems. These were manifest in the Civil War, and both World Wars. The "forces of evil" always suffer due to two main issues:

1) They are impatient and impetuous
2) They are fractured and often fight amongst themselves

Here is how this has played out in the past:

Civil War
1) Attacking Fort Sumter. This is the actual "cause of war". Shooting at Federal troops in a Federal installation. The south could have just waited for the garrison to abandon the place. Even better, they could have just waited a couple of years, and negotiated its return (likewise with Fort Pickens in Florida and Fort Monroe in Virginia). Instead, they had to have it right away, and gave Lincoln the "causus belli" he was looking for.
2) The Confederacy was significantly fractured. The individual states would not share their resources. For example, while Lee and his army are starving at Petersburg, North Carolina had plenty of food and uniforms. But they wouldn't send it to Virginia because they thought they might need it themselves soon.

World War One
1a) Going to war with everyone over the Serbia/Austro-Hungarian (AH) conflict. This starts with Germany giving AH a "blank check" to do anything it wants diplomatically. This doesn't go well to say the least.
1b) The Zimmerman telegram to Mexico promising them 1/3 of the USA if they ally with Germany should USA join the war against them. Not well thought out to say the least.
2) Germany and AH fighting Russia. The three were absolute monarchies, who still lived under the philosophy of the monarch having the "divine right to rule". They should have been allies. Instead, they fractured and end up fighting amongst themselves, resulting in the end of all three monarchies.

World War Two
1a) Germany going to war over Danzig and the Polish Corridor, years before the Army or Navy were ready (Army plans were for 1943, Navy plans were for 1948). Can you imagine the weapons the Germans would have had in 1944 while the western world diddled during “peace in our time”?
1b) Japan taking over French Indonesia (Vietnam) which they knew was going to lead to American embargoes (and start the clock on when they would need to deal with the USA).
2) Hitler and Stalin fighting each other. They were both dictatorial/homicidal monsters. Had they stayed allied (as they were in 1939/40), they may well have taken over the world. Instead, both bled themselves white. 80% of the fighting in WWII was between Hitler and Stalin.

The future:
1) The baddies, led by the CCP, will start the war far before their long-term plans intend them too. They will do something impetuous like attacking an American city while they don't need to.
2) The baddies will waste too much of their effort fighting amongst themselves or failing to provide aide to each other when they need it.

America will eventually win WWIII, but it won’t be the only slightly wounded hero that it was at the end of the global wars of the twentieth century. Instead it will be more like France at the end of WWI, utterly spent.

This would then lead to the resurgence of the suppressed feelings that existed before the war, yet without the means of keeping them in check.

Anyone who is a threat to his power. Kind of the definition of a baddie.

I will wait for the Chechens, Georgians and Ukrainians who visit this site to expound further.

Which means a burned and ruined America becomes an extension of ramshackle Central America: Hell on Earth.

Sounds like that is what bottom feeders and their enablers deserve.

Wouldn't this mean that WW3 would be immediately followed by ACW2?
