Doctors have revealed fresh details on the terrible toll taken on the body by Covid-19, releasing the results of autopsies of those who have died in the pandemic.

In a study published in The Lancet journal EClinicalMedicine, Dr Amy Rapkiewicz, the chair of the Department of Pathology at NYU Langone Medical Centre, showed the role played by blood clots in the progression of the disease.

Describing how scientists found clotting in tiny blood vessels throughout the body, Rapkiewicz told CNN the findings were "dramatic".

"Because though we might have expected it in the lungs, we found it in almost every organ that we looked at in our autopsy study."

The Times not only broke the Bountygate story but commissioned squads of reporters comprising nine different correspondents to write eight articles hyping the supposed scandal in the course of eight days. Its coverage displayed the paper’s usual habit of regurgitating bits of dubious information furnished to its correspondents by faceless national security sources. In the days after the Times’ dramatic publication, its correspondent squads were forced to revise the story line to correct an account that ultimately turned out to be false on practically every important point.

A trader-hedge fund purchased 13,600 $VIX 8/19 $90 calls for 35 cents
The VIX is currently 27

If you study economic history, then you are likely to realize that such relationship between money supply and asset prices has no real foundations.

When I wrote the above, I thought that the "Dow 100,000" idea was
a big joke. Not so! It turns out that a lot of people are predicting
exactly that:

The publication dates you've noted on these are somewhat telling.

First, this one (Klement On Investing, 19-Feb-2020) was the day the S&P made its all time high!

Then, these two (Fool.com, 26-Sep-2019) and (Amazon, 30-Sep-1999) were both a few months before the all time S&P highs of March 2000 and February 2020.

I don't know what to make of the more recent predictions where Dow 100,000 is still being predicted even though a seemingly important high has passed. I also don't know what to make of a stock market bubble in the midst of a recession or possibly depression - that's never happened before so far as I am aware.

I'm still short, but have not been able to increase above 5 lots while maintaining a profitable entry on the additional lots.

This is starting to look like the bubble to end all bubbles. We all know it's not your grandfather's bubble and it's not even your recent bubble.
