Financial topics
Re: Financial topics
Reuters shows how middle class can be wiped out.
Heartland Institute, told Glenn Beck:
“What’s going on with this war gaming is they are testing out different ways they could move the ball forward on The Great Reset using various kinds of crises and this one was cyber attacks.”
The World Economic Forum has promoted the scenario of a cyber pandemic threat that demands a multilateral project to protect financial institutions — “the exact same thing the WEF was saying about pandemics prior to Covid-19,” says Haskins, co-author with Beck of The Great Reset: Joe Biden and the Rise of Twenty-First-Century Fascism.
The former governor of the central banks of England and Canada (2008-2020) Mark Carney says the world is heading for a new monetary system. This would be unified, unlike the multiple forms of private money whose competition for supremacy leads, he says, to inefficiency and instability.
The central bank digital currency (CBDC) would replace other currencies under the “Collective Strength” scenario — despite Carney’s previous assertion that a CBDC would complement and not replace existing currency types.
This would see the end of retail or commercial banks, warns the economist Richard Werner, best known for Princes of the Yen (2003).
Retail banks lend to small business, which in turn create 80 per cent of jobs. The social impact of their loss would be huge.
From the reports they are 10 steps ahead of you. You are to be destroyed.
We say you have been and Captain Oatmeal is the lead Muppet.

The firm's decision to cut its dividend will also help it retain more of its money, which can be repurposed toward CapEx and growth.

Wall Street is once again in the midst of a “money heist” from naive investors. This time in the form of “woke activism” called ESG.

extra stupid groups
Crap created by the parasitical management consultancies and large public accountants and then institutionalized
into the Federal and State regulatory agencies to create multi year daisy chain annuities to their benefit at the expense
of shareholders or private company owners. It is a Leftist extension into broader society of political correctness and cancel culture.
It's just a way of cutting off access to capital for "unapproved" industries and companies.
Deese and Pyle, who will not require Senate confirmation, will be the first duo of the modern era to go from the same
Wall Street firm to jobs as top economic advisors to Comrade Oatmeal and Commissariat Vice of Social Score States.

Remains an interesting stock market. In the short term buyers now back firmly in control. Maybe a new record coming on the S&P 500

The shuckin and jivin as you describe inaccurate predictions are not part of generational dynamics. People add their own detail to the broad brush strokes of GD and then do the shuckin and jivin when their detail doesn't happenCool Breeze wrote: Mon Jan 31, 2022 11:56 amI'm here to see the thought processes and also the shuckin' and jivin' when they don't fit the prediction. As I've said, cycles happen, wars happen, we all die ... I'm not convinced that GD is that different from just sayin' "cycles", "it is coming" or "we die" - all of which are pretty obvious. What's your take?richard5za wrote: Sun Jan 30, 2022 8:52 amCool,
In general human beings are bad predictors of future events. Quite a lot of research was done last century on this and the conclusions were that more than 80% of political and economic experts weren't as accurate in predictions as a dart throwing chimp.
Generational dynamics seems to have substantially raised the accuracy of reading the signs of the times; from which predictions can be made. This relates to outcomes in particular; less accurate is that timing is generally more flexible / less predictable.
If you are not here because you believe that generational dynamics improves the accuracy of predictions, then I would be most interested to learn why you are here?
This is because as I explained humans are very incompetent predictors without structure which of course doesn't have to be GD. For instance the biblical prophets were excellent at reading the signs of the times, but no timing was offered. They could see that a particular outcome would happen
You can see the human predicting weakness quite simply by observing poker. If you play poker strictly to the maths over time you will beat most other players, perhaps not those also using maths. We humans are really terrible predictors, even on something as simple as a game of poker!
So I am here for the broad brush strokes of GD outomes which are pretty accurate from a historical perspective, and so have the best chance of accuracy going forward.
Plus I enjoy the short term banter which makes the road interesting.
For instance we know that the stock market will crash as an outcome. A biblical theme is waiting, waiting. Same here, waiting for the stock market crash. But the 'waiting chatter' for the stock market crash is interesting.
As far as predictions such as another dark age is concerned, that is possible if events go a certain way. The question is probablity versus other possible outcomes.
