I was browsing around through some earlier posts this morning, and I
stumbled across the following from May 20, 2009:

date, Dear Reader? That was just a few months after September 2008.
In my "Stupid Inflationist" post two weeks ago, I quoted and ridiculed
the following statement, that I'd been hearing over and over by
so-called "experts":
"Inflation exploded in April at an annual rate of 4.2%, the
highest rate since Sept 2008, so inflation is already occurring, and
we can expect much higher inflation in the next few months!"

I pointed out that variations of this statement have been widely
quoted by so-called "experts" but it was self-contradictory because it
meant that inflation spiked even higher in Sept 2008, and Sept 2008
was actually followed by a year of deflation. So you have to be a
really stupid "expert" to think that a short inflation spike is
self-sustaining, when in fact it's likely to be followed by a
reversion of the mean.
So let's go back to the May 2009 quote from malleni. That was
actually well into the deflationary period, and yet, malleni and gordo
were ridiculing me for following Generational Dynamics "theory," and
not having the "sense" to adopt their idiotic view of inflation.
Dear Reader, this is what happens all the time. I do and do and do and
do and do for you guys, and I'm always right, and you're always wrong,
but you just criticize me and never give me any credit.
Sigh. At least I'm not being thrown into a pit or raped in Apollo's
temple. At least not yet.
