Financial topics
Re: Financial topics
Your right Higg, and as it was said the game continues, even if they flatly deny the parts they wish to ignore or deny
in the chosen view they embrace.

Re: Financial topics
We in the West have been successful using the scientific method but unfortunately stock markets still operate under the same primitive and base principles that a pack of wolves howling at the moon operate under. We may not like that but it is what it is. And Bernanke is making it much worse.

While the periphery breaks down rather slowly at first, the capital cities of the hegemon should collapse suddenly and violently.

.
The Los Angles Police Department ( LAPD ) demonstrated that the U.S. still has it when it comes to new technology that makes the U.S. the leader of the world.
China could learn a thing, or two, about dealing with "mass incidents" and home owners who defy eminent domain by studying the LAPD. No need for those mid-evil trenches around homeowners in China when modern technology is available to solve the problem quickly, and conclusively.
Gun control will be less difficult to enforce with the type of technology and tactics the LAPD has just demonstrated.
Have a home owner insisting on his Second Amendment Rights? No Problem, just send in the burners.

The audio was captured on police scanners as well as being picked up by a local news broadcast. More than seven agencies, federal, state and local were involved in the final hours of the siege. The LAPD SWAT Team was airlifted in to carry out the final raid, with reports later confirming, “the SWAT team had the cabin surrounded.” San Bernardino County sheriff’s deputies were also involved in the standoff. The video above is from captured police scanner transmissions which were broadcast online shortly before authorities ordered them to be disabled.
Police audio from the Christopher Dorner siege reveals a deliberate plan to burn down the cabin in which Dorner was trapped, with one officer heard to say, “fucking burn this motherfucker,” before police discussed their intention to, “go ahead with the plan with the burners.”
“Alright, we’re gonna go ahead with the plan with the burners,” one officer says.
“Copy,” replies another.
“Like we talked about,” the first officer responds.
“The burners are deployed, and we have a fire,” says another officer moments later, before the police dispatcher repeats the statement.
Within minutes of the fire starting, police note that the cabin is “starting to collapse.”
Police are also heard discussing if they are ready to “bring fire”.

and indeed, yes, In fact, if one extrapolates the inverted curved yellow line of what actual S&P earnings have been in recent years, it is very likely that not only has the broader economy peaked, but so have corporate revenues, margins and earnings, and at this point any profit growth will be very limited at best.
The next leg a few note in fact over the century's,
What this means is that applying additional taxes past their maximisation point will not result in higher revenues, but lower — bringing neither justice to private men nor honour to the nation. The nineteenth-century French economist Frédéric Bastiat popularised this economic phenomenon as ‘That Which Is Seen, and That Which Is Not Seen’:
Between a good and a bad economist this constitutes the whole difference—the one takes account of the visible effect; the other takes account both of the effects which are seen and also of those which it is necessary to foresee. Now this difference is enormous, for it almost always happens that when the immediate consequence is favorable, the ultimate consequences are fatal, and the converse. Hence it follows that the bad economist pursues a small present good, which will be followed by a great evil to come, while the true economist pursues a great good to come, at the risk of a small present evil.
A step in foresight to improve the nation’s finances proves in hindsight a wounding blow to the public treasury. A century earlier, Bastiat’s compatriot the Baron de Montesquieu proclaimed pithily in The Spirit of the Laws that when savages ‘are desirous of fruit, the cut the tree to the root, and gather the fruit. This is an emblem of despotic government.’ Now savagery and despotism are camouflaged as enlightened policy.

Re: Financial topics
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robert_Jay_MathewsThe government's agents surrounded Mathews in a house near Freeland, Washington on Whidbey Island on December 8, 1984. Mathews refused to come out after an intense exchange of gunfire. The FBI then fired dozens of smoke grenades into the house in an attempt to force Mathews out, but were thwarted by his use of a gas mask. They then fired several M-79 Starburst flares inside the house, setting off a box of hand grenades and a stockpile of ammunition. Mathews continued to fire at agents as the house burned, but then suddenly stopped. After the wreckage had cooled enough to be searched, agents found the burned remains of 31 year old Mathews' body next to a charred bathtub, pistol still in hand.
I read a book about this I picked up new for $3 that is out of print. This is pretty accurate as far as it goes. The Mathews killing was described by agents as being justified but there were no accounts of the agents being so crass, ruthless, and bloodthirsty as they were in the case of Dorner, probably because they weren't.

Re: Financial topics
People look at price and the news flows from that. When the negative GDP number came out 2 weeks ago people ignored it because price was going up. When price goes up the herd says, well, maybe somebody knows something that I don't. Maybe the economy is going to get better and GDP will go back up. Or maybe it was just due to military so who cares. When price goes down, the herd (of which the media is a part, including the Internet media) will first look at price, then try to explain why price went down. Let's say price goes down next week and the government releases the revised GDP and it comes in exactly the same as it did 2 weeks ago. The herd will then say, look, the economy is really contracting, the revised number confirms it. We thought the first release was an outlier.
I talked to somebody yesterday who has been in the brokerage business for about 30 years. She said we have GDP coming up. I said that was already released. She said no, fourth quarter GDP. I said that was already released; it was minus 0.1. It took me like 2 minutes to get through to her that the number was already out. The reason she didn't believe that number was already out was because price has been going UP, so she had completely ignored the number. I've seen this happen many times.

Good catch Higg, the filtering effect on profiles is factoring in. The Freudian dialog on the presstitutes channel was a white wash to classical modeling. The point to be illustrated as the filtering effect is this. They came back from being on tour and Detroit was on fire at that time. His CO came in and asked if they could fire on Citizens. They looked back at said fuck yes we will. The point was the rabid response was a effective way NOT to go. Also he stated a few WANTED to go in his rifle company. The filtering effect to placements IN law enforcement is a difficult task and some DO get by with the attitude as we call it. Like I said the classic Freudian and typical press conveyances are typical to the wall crowd chained to the Greek wall of classical thought. As you noted his specific case the other eight charged by jury were acquitted of all charges. You touched on a very large fact that NDAA is a fire at will document as in they just vanish with no due process. Was this guy a bad guy? Yes, no , maybe. Our Senator say he is against drones on American soil but could care less if they could maybe just - vanish as we note the other economic kill switches. On that note I heard they got seventy percent back on that one debacle. Before his cheese slid off his cracker it was noted he turned in some filtered insane members of the force who as alleged did some bad things and he got the hook off stage to preserve the cult status as he ran in his mind to daylight. I know the police are here to help more than not and also is true to preserve the para military state. I would rather call the Sheriff myself. Like I said a unarmed guy got smoked in a lobby and even the cuffed executed as we have seen lately. This guy is a number of one who slipped as he watch the other elements run riot. I have a few in Law Enforcement and they will state the filtered go up. We know what it means since of course as many wish to keep the work they have. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nMG1qjpzNPg

The thing I'm keeping in mind is what happens when the bond market collapses and thus the government finances collapse. And these ruthless and bloodthirsty fuckheads are no longer being paid and they're roaming though people's neighborhoods like a pack of wolves.
