http://investmentwatchblog.com/why-no-m ... -accounts/

Of the monies paid for “royalties and expenses” it seems “$400 million was transferred discreetly to accounts offshore to Barry Soetoro, LLC, a legal entity operating out of three foreign countries.” The accounts have funds in the Cayman Islands, Caledonia, and Ireland; what this means is that it is not paying tax in the US…It works out to around $170 million not in the public coffers.

“If I did not, no one would.” – Dashrath Manjhi

One day, Dashrath’s wife was returning from the long, timely trip with water for her family, when she tripped on a loose rock and injured her leg. During her slow recovery, Falguni fell ill. The nearest doctor was about 45 miles away. Falguni, too sick and still healing, was unable to make the trip over the mountain. She died from the lack of medical treatment. This tragedy is what initially inspired Dashrath Manjhi to carve a path through the enormous mountain, beginning his journey as a moral hero.

Grief-stricken and angered by the difficulties that this mountain posed, Dashrath Manjhi dedicated his life and sacrificed much to carve out the mountain. He was so dedicated to the daunting task that he sold his goats in order to buy a hammer and a chisel needed for the feat set before him. Working in the fields during the day and hammering at the mountain at night was difficult, even for young Dashrath who was “then in his early twenties” (Raman and Sehgal). He decided that making a safer environment for the people in his village, nearby villages, and for generations of travelers was more important than bringing in a steady income. As a result, he quit his day job. Occasionally, he would carry luggage over the mountain for travelers in order to earn some money, but his family sometimes went without food.

"We work for the American people," Sen. Tim Scott of South Carolina said Tuesday. "We don't work for the president."

"For he will be like a tree planted by the water, That extends its roots by a stream And will not fear when the heat comes; But its leaves will be green, And it will not be anxious in a year of drought Nor cease to yield fruit. "The heart is more deceitful than all else And is desperately sick; Who can understand it? "I, the LORD, search the heart, I test the mind, Even to give to each man according to his ways, According to the results of his deeds.…

I've always thought Trump represented the end of Liberals and Conservatives. Looks what's happening all over Europe. But the elites are turning it back on the masses by redirecting their anxieties onto Trump for or against. It's Trump's fault, it's Obama's fault. It's all of them.

The Observer: "To focus energies on attacking Trump or, conversely, making excuses for him, leads the masses to essentially fight for the “status quo” by ignoring the bigger issues."

A big change is acomin' either way.

Yes as the pattern's continue.

Machiavelli was arrested and tortured by agents of the Medici family, whose members he dedicated
"The Prince" to.

A day after a vote granting President Nicolas Maduro near-dictatorial powers, agents of Venezuela's intelligence agency seized two key opposition figures.

A bear call spread is a limited-risk, limited-reward strategy, consisting of one short call option and one long call option. This strategy generally profits if the stock price holds steady or declines.
Venezuela's supply of heavy crude to U.S. independent refiner Phillips 66 has dropped by more than two-thirds this year in part due to quality problems, and the company has cancelled at least one cargo in recent months, according to sources from state-run oil company PDVSA.

Phillips 66 <PSX.N> has also asked for price discounts for other shipments of Venezuelan crude, according to the sources.

Benjamin Franklin once said: "Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety."

The letter widely presumed to be written by Franklin in 1755 on behalf of the Pennsylvania Assembly to the colonial governor. “The letter was a salvo in a power struggle between the governor and the assembly over funding for security on the frontier, one in which the assembly wished to tax the lands of the Penn family,” he explains.

The letter wasn’t about liberty but about taxes and the ability to “raise money for defense against French and Indian attacks. The governor kept vetoing the assembly’s efforts at the behest of the family, which had appointed him.”

Mr. Trump has a job to do and actually protect our tax dollar since it appears no else wants to. We lost two more troops in the arm pit of the planet which the mineral content was estimated a trillion dollars. Tax payers are not happy our kids are slaughtered for MIC.

The Chinese have naval and air basing agreements with Sri Lanka and Pakistan Balochistan. Both naval and air operating regions box in India in the Indian ocean. The ground war drive to the Bay of Bengal is not for naval forces it is to cut India in to two operational zones. The western part of India will be attacked by Pakistan and China will invade the eastern portion.

In the north, India Kashmir will be invaded in the north by China and in the west by Pakistan.
The Chinese will use tactical nuclear weapons to destroy Indian nuclear stockpiles. China believes India is a nuclear threat to China. A certain portion of Chinese defense spending is air defense against a war with India based on India nuclear weapons.

India is an ancient traditional Chinese enemy. The Chinese are the fish people, the Indians are the snake people, the Koreans are the bird people and the Mongolians are the dog people. At the meeting of the four tribes, the fish tribe, the bird tribe and the dog tribe told the snake tribe to join us, leave or we will kill you. All Asia knows this ancient story. A Chinese victory over India has immense psychological prestige for China in Asia.

The US naval engagement in the South China sea is a psychological warfare operation designed to rally Asian allies. In Asia, face is important. A material Chinese loss and a US Navy victory against Chinese threats and actions in the South China sea is a loss of face for China.
I've written many essays on this subject. I worked for many years in Asia. I speak the languages and know the mind. I've conducted operations from the north of Japan to Indonesia. I'm old now, just trying to give an understanding of things to come. The Chinese propaganda of new carrier killer ICBM and supersonic cruise missiles to destroy the US Navy isn't fiction, however, combined fleet operations and assets can decimate the Chinese navy. It is wise to trigger the Chinese strategic deception with a South China sea naval engagement because it will disrupt the strategic time table.
There is a certain probability a US mobilization draft will be a new reality. In other words, those under age 30 could be drafted. This is a serious scenario, the naval engagement can change the direction of events into a more manageable outcome. However, China is on the move because the US is perceived to be a weak and dying nation with a people who are at odds with each other and with a strong internal communist movement working to destroy the nation. alpha

Leopoldo is a thug from one of the richest families in Venezuela. Has voice enthusiastic support for the 2002 and, of course, has major connections to powerful DC people. Robert Gluck, a GOP strategist, set up "Friends of a Free Venezuela" and works on behalf of Lopez for free.

Another opposition "activist" leader (read "terrorist") Lorent Saleh was caught on tape suggesting the "firebombing of government ministries, child care centers, city buses, and television stations and the fatal shootings of security forces and Chavista sympathizers":

This latest disruption on in Venezuelan society started with currency manipulation, among other things:

https://www.counterpunch.org/2014/02/17 ... ack-again/

How many countries and lives destroyed before Liberals and Conservatives stop towing the Washington Consensus before they accept what is pretty much an open story. Does the mainstream still not know the US overthrows democratically elected govs? Iran, Guatemala, Boilvia, Chile, Ukraine, Honduras -- just in recent years -- etc.....

When will we accept reality?

As we noted correctly the middle ground is watching both sides asset strip us
as the left suits up with black blankets for the chicks and mic hey lets play in Asian land wars
since the grave yard of any empire preserves my bottom line.
Put bluntly by the age of 35 the voters ignore all agencies that enjoy the black water to swim in as
the other side puts a gun to your fore head to pay for the debauched imbeciles.

"Brazil is deteriorating".

We have relatives in Brazil. They confirm the deterioration. tyler

Apart from the endemic drug problems, Brazil has got worse since the socialist President Dilma Rousseff was impeached for corruption, her predecessor Lula has been sentenced to 9 years in the slammer for corruption (4 more charges awaiting trial) and the current president Michel Temer (who ousted Rousseff) has himself been charged with corruption and maybe also be impeached.

You really couldn't make this up.

Add to that the huge "lava jato" (car wash) and JBS scandals which have virtually crippled the country's biggest oil company Petrobrás by embezzlement, caused serious damage to Brazil's largest multinational construction company Odebrecht and put a large number of corporate execs in prison. Most of these trials are going on in Curitiba/PR, one of Brazil's most civilised cities.

It's no excuse but it's not difficult to see why the favelados think "what's good for goose is good for the gander".

The center is being ignored and being dissolved all over.

No its not doomer rhetoric. The book states things will indeed wax cold. The border wall may be all that keeps us solvent since
the economy on average here accepts three thousand people a day in civil discourse.

When will we accept reality?

I do not consider even 60 percent of the taxpayers even have a clue.
