Orpheus' misery would soon end, though, when he was set upon by a group of frenzied Maenads.
Look around as you consider what was important.
Avoid Islands of depraved culture. You can see what they considered important as brand on.
We doubt the Senate wishes to secure.

PPI 9.7%
Prices at the wholesale level jumped twice the expected level in January as inflation pressures were unabated to start the year, the Labor Department said Tuesday.
The producer price index, which measures final-demand goods and services, increased 1% for the month, against the Dow Jones estimate for 0.5%. Over the past 12 months the gauge rose an unadjusted 9.7%, close to a record in data going back to 2010.
Excluding food, energy and trade services, co-called core PPI increased 0.9% for the month, well ahead of the 0.4% estimate.

Shekter Smith was the head of the state's drinking water office when Flint's water system was contaminated with lead from 2014 thru 2015. Later she was among a group of state and local officials criminally charged in connection with the water crisis. Liane Shekter Smith eventually entered into a plea deal where she pled ‘no contest’ to a misdemeanor charge and served no jail time.
The arbitrator’s ruling called for the state to pay Shekter Smith nearly $200,000 in back pay and other compensation.
Under the settlement, the state of Michigan has agreed to pay $300,000. Shekter Smith has agreed not to seek reinstatement to her old job. And her departure will now be classified as a voluntary resignation instead of a firing.
In the latest round of Lead and Copper Rule monitoring, spanning the six months from July 1 through Dec. 31, 2021, 90% of water samples collected were at or below 7 parts per billion for lead, compared with 3 parts per billion in the first half of the year.
The Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy said those results were still within state and federal standards, which require action when lead levels exceed 15 parts per billion.

The original assignats were issued in values that corresponded with the assessed value of the seized churches.
A citizen who purchased one of these early assignats was essentially purchasing a government bond. In a sense, he was loaning money to the government, and the government promised to repay that amount after a fixed period of time, with interest. The interest promised on the first assignats was around 3%.
The last assignats were printed in 1795. The next year, the government created a currency known as the mandat, which was meant to slowly phase out the assignat. Both currencies became obsolete when Napoleon came into power and, in 1801, introduced the franc. The franc was the national currency of France until the introduction of the European Union-wide euro in 1999.

Last week Nomura was saying how we're all going to die by the end of the month.
What did happen was you need to earn another $3000 per year for the swamp leeches bites and infection complications.
Talleyrand polarizes scholarly opinion to this day.
Suspend one tax, debt increased to make up the shortfall.
Then wonder about supply shock inflation.
Priceless crayon chewers.
Do we seek out things to covet?
Make an effort to answer.

Interesting that a Hit Piece alleging Russian collusion comes at the same time the Durham Reports shows Hillary Clinton committed actual treason by fabricating a fake Russian Collusion narrative against Donald Trump that went so far as to orchestrate an illegal FBI investigation and a Congressional impeachment of a duly elected President because of red necks voting.

Conservative Political Action Conference.
'With the revelations that Trump was indeed spied on during 2016 and deep into his presidency it is time for
anyone complicit in this crime resign from the Biden Administration and be charged.

A special purpose acquisition company (SPAC) backed by China's sovereign wealth fund is taking over the American publisher of Forbes magazine in a deal valued at US$630 million. Magnum Opus Acquisition, based in Hong Kong, will merge with Forbes Global Media Holdings, according to a statement overnight. Aug 26, 2021
Contributor to Forbes, told Tucker Carlson on Monday that he was terminated from the magazine over his coverage of NIAID Director Dr. Anthony Fauci.
Andrzejewski, who recently made headlines with his investigative reporting that Fauci was the highest paid employee in the entire US Federal government, described how he was targeted for being critical of Dr. Anthony Fauci and exposing his yearly earnings.
"The National Institutes of Health’s six top executives wrote an e-mail to myself and Randall Lane, the top content officer at Forbes. It was couched as a corrections e-mail, but there were no substantial corrections and they quibbled about small things in my column. But that was the excuse Forbes used to cancel it," Andrzejewski said.
There are two types of people in the world:
1) Those that know Fauci is a lying psychopath.
2) Morons
