am in Costa Rica I see hundreds of Venezuelans every time I go down to the coastal road. They get maps in Panama as they cross the border. They are panhandling at all the supermarkets. I feel bad for the Ticos who depend on handouts, as these bad actors have invaded the space, and have an attitude like people owe them a free ride. Mr. Kennedy Jr. alleged his request for Secret Service protection was denied by the White House.
The FBI might take over the investigation of the case later, but further details of potential charges are unavailable until the suspect is officially booked, an LAPD spokesperson told The Epoch Times Friday night.
Mr. Kennedy Jr. expressed on Friday night his gratitude for the prompt action taken by the event's security team and the police to ensure his safety.
"I’m very grateful that alert and fast-acting protectors from [security company] Gavin de Becker and Associates (GDBA) spotted and detained an armed man who attempted to approach me at [the event] tonight," he wrote on X.
"The man, wearing two shoulder holsters with loaded pistols and spare ammunition magazines was carrying a U.S. Marshal badge on a lanyard and beltclip federal ID. He identified himself as a member of my security detail.
"Armed GDBA team members moved quickly to isolate and detain the man until LAPD arrived to make the arrest. I’m also grateful to LAPD for its rapid response," he wrote.

Yesterday I posted about a 30 million dollar buy of Dollar General stock. When I tried to update the post this morning, I intended to quote it but instead hit the wrong button and lost the post. Anyway, the idea was that someone with a lot of money might be wanting to get into an oversold dollar store stock similar to the big buy in Meta noted last year before it tripled over the next few months. It's an unusual situation (both stocks were beat down relentlessly) and unusual to see someone throw that kind of money at a stock all at once. I got in and got out yesterday. But it was interesting to see that Dollar General was up today with the S&P down.
While the periphery breaks down rather slowly at first, the capital cities of the hegemon should collapse suddenly and violently.
