Re: Financial topics
My broker in Chicago has been bearish on the stock market for a long time.
About a year ago, I called for him and got his partner. They covered for each other's vacations, etc. So she told me he had to pick up his kids, implying there had been a divorce. I said, oh, he hadn't told me that. She said, oh, gosh, don't tell him I told you.
My thought was that his wife married him with the idea he would make a fortune trading the markets and when she didn't benefit from this huge bull market she pulled the plug on the marriage (got out of the trade).
You can learn a lot by becoming good friends with a broker who is inside the system. But I guess one thing you won't hear the details of is his failed marriage.

While the periphery breaks down rather slowly at first, the capital cities of the hegemon should collapse suddenly and violently.

Then there is this form of trading.
Higgenbotham in 2011 wrote: Along similar lines, as previously mentioned, I was in an old factory town in the former Soviet Union about 5 years ago. It's rare for Americans to venture deep into the bowels of the former Soviet Union and the young women were curious. So 4 women were gathered around one night and they decided that I should look at pictures and tell them whether or which of the women in the pictures were the most attractive. In one of the pictures there was a gathering of people where a very attractive woman in her late 20s was sitting with an ugly old man. For some reason, they went to the next picture without comment and I then asked Angelina, the woman who had set up my visit, to flip back to that picture. I asked Angelina (who was married and had a family) what that attractive young woman was doing with that ugly old man. She first explained that the man was from England and that he had bought the young woman an apartment, a car, clothes, etc. Then she looked at me very seriously and said something like, you don't understand, oh, this man, this is a very good man, when you get close to this man, oh, it is different than looking at the picture, he is such a good man. She said the young woman was very happy being with this man. Her manner of speaking was very earnest, heartfelt, and serious. This was quite remarkable to me.

On Bernanke:
"In any case, his philosophy is that if something is bankrupt, you might as well see how bankrupt you can get it before it collapses."

Still gets my vote as best quote on this forum.

Eduard Bernstein Founder of evolutionary socialism democratic socialism social democracy and revisionism.
This is the linkage to the observation below.
Richard Wolff first co-authored academic publication by Wolff and Resnick was the Theory of Transitional Conjunctures and the Transition from Feudalism to Capitalism. Marxist polemicists in the news cycle again.
Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn conveyed that Alexander II of Russia He sought peace, moved away from bellicose France when Napoleon III fell in 1871, and in 1872 joined with Germany and Austria in the League of the Three Emperors that stabilized the European situation. Despite his otherwise pacifist foreign policy, he fought a brief war with the Ottoman Empire in 1877–78, pursued further expansion into Siberia and the Caucasus, and conquered Turkestan. Although disappointed by the results of the Congress of Berlin in 1878, Alexander abided by that agreement. Among his greatest domestic challenges was an uprising in Poland in 1863, to which he responded by stripping that land of its separate constitution and incorporating it directly into Russia. Alexander was proposing additional parliamentary reforms to counter the rise of nascent revolutionary and anarchistic movements when he was assassinated in 1881.
The Marxist learned to be the professional anarchist networks to the two assassinations of the Czars that paved the result of the current force.
Foundations and Gyorgy Schwartz.
Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn 200 Years Together Russo-Jewish History crushes any pretenses of a divide based on the lack of insight.
I do not think we need to look much further to the GD announcement as seen today but for brevity will forward it.

I will convey what may be done in peace for these men of destiny but wish solutions in a fair market system.

Fabio:
"If you go to downtown Los Angeles, it's like, I've been around the world and I remember being, 30 years ago, in Africa. Africa doesn't look like that. It's unbelievable. Not even a third world country 30 years ago looked like California right now."

Cliff Notes version of the last 20 years in the stock market and possible critical juncture now. I agree with all of it.

The agency problem we discussed here H.
We can list every issue he discussed.
He is a brilliant caring soul.
Do not push on a string.
27.6% Stocks
37.3% Bonds
35.1% Short-term reserves
Pareto survival function and the exponential survival function have closed forms.
We can express it as math but like Him we can see it.
More will it as not.
As you know the hazard rate is called the failure rate in reliability theory and can be interpreted
as the rate that a machine will fail at the next instant given that it has been functioning for x units of time.
As you explained also H the square root function to dynamic structures.
The point is as He knows at what linkage do you admit what part of the cycle
can we endure the obvious in relationship to the Letter derived from the Book.
TARP funding was the only new source of alleged capital to cover the corrupt.
Also to match other structures that do exist. The Americans waited to long to pull the chain
and still lingers in darkness in percentages of change.
