Iran rules out Peace with United States

The Supreme Leader of Iran, the holder of the official government title: "God's deputy on earth", ruled out resolving any issues with the United States with peace talks and rejected offers of such talks by Obama and Biden. This statement put an end to speculation that recent statements made by the President of Iran, and the Foreign Minister of Iran, might have hinted at a willingness by Iran to talk directly with the United States.
Iran and the United States have been in a defacto state of war for over 30 years since Iranians supporting the Mullahs seized power in Iran and invaded and occupied the U.S. embassy in Iran in 1979, 1980 and early 1981.
