This forum is mostly dead, but just some final thoughts...
America is done. Finished, Toast. But like a cockroach whose head is chopped off, still scurries about for a while. It's momentum, that's all. Ray Dalio proves how the US is in decline, in favor of an emergent China, who will become the great global superpower and hold the world's reserve currency.
"Principles for Dealing with the Changing World Order: Why Nations Succeed and Fail"
America's power relies on its "exorbitant privilege" as reserve currency, where it can print and spend to infinity and beyond, thereby funding the technology that backs its military power. This is coming to an end. In the absence of technology, America does not have the capacity to crank out huge numbers of tanks, planes and ships needed to win a slugfest, after all the nukes have been deployed. China does, and Russia might be better at it than the US; their doctrine has always been to crank out large numbers of cheap tanks. America has few facilities that can produce chips, planes, ships and tanks, all easily targeted by nukes. The US advantage lies in the high tech that will be in short supply during a full scale war. Unlike WWII, the US will not be out-of-reach from attack to any existing manufacturing or tech base.
America's armed forces are in a sorry state, falling victim to the woke generation. Woke generals command the branches and brain-dead millennials fill the ranks. Take a look at who will be fighting the next war. While the woke press likes to make fun of Russians fleeing the country and avoiding service, just wait until America gets into a serious fight. They will flee by the millions to Canada or Mexico, finding every excuse not to have to fight.

Just look at the photo of those recruits. America is toast.
So you all can play your board games and move your theoretical chess pieces around, pretending you know how the world works, but the time will come when reality bites. I hope you have a Plan B, and exit strategy. The macro picture is clear. America is toast.
Finally John likes to brag that his predictions around Generational Dynamics were "true or trending true". He hasn't talked about this for a while, and it's clear that statement is false, given Russia's alignment with BRICS, new currency regimes, cooperation with Saudis and China, and India. So John's alignments for the "coming clash of civilizations" are false or trending false. So GD is a dead-end theory, with limited value, hence why this forum is dead. Dalio's thesis does have generational components and that's probably how GD should be looked at - as a component, not as a thing that rules them all.
