I have been mostly posting links on the Ukraine War for the past year (of course), but GD argues China is a bigger threat to America than Russia, and I tend to agree. I haven't read that much on this, but there are quite a few YouTube videos on this issue:

Sorry for not listing the sources, John et al, but I am an atrocious typist and I was unable to copy and paste them. How ever, the dates and views should give you an idea of the currency and prominence of the videos.

I have no idea if you're correct, but thanks, Trevor, that was comforting. I'll take any comfort I can get these days.
I gave you the answer but sadly things are censored here like the CCP does in China.

Anti-China rioting in Kenya and DRC

There are growing anti-government riots
in Kenya because of high prices. Kenyan
police tear gassed the leader of the
opposition on Monday and arrested senior
lawmakers in his parliamentary faction,
as protesters took to the streets to
march against President William Ruto and
the high cost of living.

https://www.reuters.com/world/africa/ke ... 023-03-20/

The riots were trigered several weeks
ago because of predatory pricing by
Chinese merchants in a shopping center
known as China Square. Local Kenyan
merchants had been selling products
sourced from China, but Kenya-China
tensions have been rising as Chinese
investors opened stores in China Square,
selling the same products at half price,
forcing the Kenyan shops out of
business.

https://www.theafricareport.com/289980/ ... the-pinch/

This illustrates the contempt that the
Chinese people, who consider themselves
the Master Race, have for any indigenous
people in any country. The Chinese
Communists have adopted the Belt and
Road Initiative (BRI) to spread Chinese
culture and gain hegemony to every
country in the world.

However, China's contemptuous attitude
toward people in other countries has led
to adopt "debt trap diplomacy" policies
in their BRI contracts with these
countries. Under these contracts, China
lends a great deal of money to a company
for an infrastructure project, then
sends in a large number of Chinese
workers to form a Chinese enclave in the
country do all the work and order all
materials and services from China, and
then requires that all salaries and
payments be paid out of the loan money.
When the country is unable to repay the
loan, China takes control of the entire
infrastructure project, and the
surrounding land as well, as well as
other country assets. China always
demands that their BRI contracts be kept
confidential, which isn't surprising,
given how horrendous these contracts
are.

Why would any country sign one of these
contracts? That's easy. The Chinese
Communists provide huge bribes to the
country's political leaders, often in
foreign banks so that the leaders can
sign the contracts and then flee the
country when something goes wrong.

Kenya's BRI contract is almost
unbelievably horrendous. It leaked out
to the Kenyan press three years ago, and
I wrote a lengthy article analyzing it
at the time:

** 15-Jan-19 World View -- Kenya's leaked BRI contract reveals shocking China debt trap details
** http://www.generationaldynamics.com/pg/ ... tm#e190115

It's hard to believe that even Kenyan
politicians would sign this contract,
but such is the power of Chinese bribes.

So this contract has generated quite a
bit of anger among the Kenyan people, so
it's not surprising that the Chinese
actions in China square, putting local
shops out of business, is generating
riots.

Kenya's last generational crisis war was
the Mau Mau Rebellion (against the
British colonists) that climaxed in
1958. There have been several tribal
conflicts since then, especially the
brutally murderous conflict between the
Kikuyu tribe and the Luo tribe.
(Incidentally, Barack Obama is a Luo,
though he was born in Hawaii.)

Those tribal conflicts have all fizzled
within a few weeks, and the current
riots may fizzle as well. But it's now
been 65 years since the end of the last
crisis war, and so it's possible that
the current riots might escalate into a
major new tribal war.

Incidentally, China also has a problem
in another African country, Central
African Republic (CAR). China's embassy
in the Central African Republic has
urged its citizens to avoid travelling
outside the capital Bangui after nine
Chinese nationals were killed in an
attack by militants at a gold mine
outside the city.

The embassy said in a statement on
Sunday there had been many "vicious"
security incidents against workers of
foreign mining enterprises in the area,
and Chinese citizens still outside
Bangui were requested to evacuate
immediately.

As a separate subject, a couple of days
ago someone asked how long it will be
before China attacks its longtime enemy
Russia. In my opinion, Putin is making
the same mistake with Xi that Stalin
made with Hitler. China will be allied
with Russia as long as it's useful to
China, and then will invade at a time of
its choosing.

I agree. The Russians never seem to learn.

What odds do you put on China attacking someone in the next 18-20 months?

Israel/Iran?

Thanks. I like people who have the little sack needed to make predictions, especially when there isn't any repercussion like on an online site, randomly.
