b]NSA seeks Chinese hackers who have burrowed into American critical infrastructure[/b]
One of the government's top cybersecurity experts says his agency is hunting for Chinese hackers who infiltrated America's critical infrastructure. He says this as he retires, and he spoke with NPR cybersecurity correspondent Jenna McLaughlin.

JENNA MCLAUGHLIN, BYLINE: In a conference room in the heart of the National Security Agency's heavily fortified Maryland campus, a small group of journalists gathered to speak to Rob Joyce. Joyce spent 34 years at the NSA. He's seen it all, from the early days of internet worms to the constant barrage of cybercriminals and nation-states launching cyberattacks. But one of his biggest concerns right now is China. In recent months, top national security officials like Joyce have started sounding a rare public alarm about Chinese hackers infiltrating American critical infrastructure. They've burrowed into systems in Guam, Hawaii and across the United States.

ROB JOYCE: From the beginning, it's been a broad campaign.

MCLAUGHLIN: The goal, he says, is to hide undetected until a key moment arrives. In the event of a conflict, like if China invaded Taiwan, those hackers could spring into action, disrupting American infrastructure from airports to the power grid to create chaos.

I find the "solidarity" with Moscow to be disgusting. The Russians (88%) approve of Putin and have voted for war in Ukraine. They rape, torture, castrate, and behead Ukrainians every day, yet we are supposed to feel sorry for concertgoers in Moscow?

Those clueless Tajiks are patsies, and anyone with an IQ over 50 knows it.
Now Putin is claiming that he ''doubts" that ISIS is behind the attack.

Yeah, no kidding. ISIS blow themselves up for free.

Now Putin is claiming it's the Ukraine plus the CIA.

Okay. Whatever.

Experts note key details from the night of the attack don't add up - with the plan of the hit being described as "almost too perfect"

There's lots about it that make it seem suspicious. It doesn't help that the image brings to mind the beginning of the attack in Obama's movie. We're all waiting for something big. This was big, but we don't know yet.

The Canadian federal government have spent more than $100 million housing migrants at hotels in Niagara Falls over the last year, from February 2023-2024.

A daily cost of $208 per migrant

The total bill for the year was roughly $115 million.

The cost includes “rooms, meals, services and security”.

How is NATO going to finance a war with China and Russia?

If Russia can't beat the Ukraine, how does it hope to go up against NATO? China need oil. How does it expect to get it from the Middle East if they start anything? Isn's China without war collapsing anyway from poor economic choices?

"What? The Germans invade the Rhineland? Stop being so dramatic! Don't you know that German children all have rickets?"

As China prepares to invade Taiwan, US forces are about to combat-test a vital weapon

The main mission of the US Army flotilla now sailing toward Gaza is to build a floating pier that will help ships offload desperately-needed humanitarian aid. But the task force also serves a secondary purpose: it’s practice for a critical combat operation – one that could help US forces to roll back Chinese advances in the event of a war over Taiwan.

The Joint Logistics Over-the-Shore pier system, or JLOTS, is a Lego-like suite of floating metal piers and ramps that can connect virtually any ship to virtually any beach. While the Pentagon is sending five 273-foot US Army landing craft to begin building the pier, the final components will sail aboard the 951-foot transport ship Roy A Benavidez, which belongs to the US Navy-administered Ready Reserve Force.

China collapsing is like a falling knife. It would be nice if we could get out of the way but we're almost too heavily invested in the area and with them. The chances that we can just watch them go under and remain unaffected in our own little bubble are small and getting smaller. They don't appear to be willing to just eat themselves like what happened in the cultural revolution. Didn't the Mongols attack the biggest foe and obliterate them, making an example for all to see and forcing everyone into submission without a fight. LEAVE THE WORLD BEHIND might work for them. They could watch US collapse and eat ourselves. What's the new popular movie? Civil War?

When's your prediction on this?
