I would have happily supported Trump's claims, had there been ANY viable evidence presented in court. There was absolutely nothing that he or his team presented in court that showed the 2020 election was "stolen".

Had he made any kind of substantiated claim, I would have backed that. But there was nothing when they entered the courtroom, where lying is actually a crime.

On top of it, the Dominion voting machine company sued quite a number of people over false claims, and won. The 2020 election "steal" just didn't happen.

Now it is true that some states changed voting requirements due to Covid. And others were very lax with mail in voting. But Trump went out of his way in 2020 telling people to NOT VOTE BY MAIL. He also did other things that frankly were beyond self defeating.

Having said that, Harris/Waltz would still be worse for the USA than Trump/Vance. Harris is incompetent and Waltz is a pro-CCP guy. They would hand Taiwan over to China without a fight. And keep the southern border open.

Trump on the other hand will hand Ukraine over to Russia (by ending support for Ukraine), and then pull back from NATO. This would also be a gigantic mistake. But at least he would close the border

But not fighting China would be a worse mistake than ending support for Ukraine. So for me it really is a choice between 2 very non-optimal choices.

I have an aquaintance (virulent Trump hater) here in
Massachusetts who bragged to me on Friday that
he's voted three times, since no ID is required.

The courts kept throwing cases out by claiming that the people bringing the claims didn't have standing, in this way the judges could throw out the challenges without even having to see the evidence. Did any of you watch the documentary 2000 mules that showed plenty of evidence? I guess someone will tell me that the FBI said that the technology used by the investigators in the documentary is not reliable, which is what the FBI said. The problem is that the FBI uses that exact same technology in all of their investigations.
By the way over the last few years some courts have taken up some of these cases and when they actually saw the evidence the judgements were in favor of the people bringing the complaints, one of the cases was against Dominion the machine company and they lost.
The USPS after claiming that there were no ballots trucked in from New York to Pennsylvania as was reported by one of the truck drivers that did it launched an investigation into this claim after the hoopla of the 2020 election had died down and guess what , a few months ago they finished the investigation and found that ballots were brought from New York to Pennsylvania as it had originally been reported. All this has happened over the last 4 years and the corporate media has not reported on it and of course now it doesn't matter because these psychos have been in charge for the last 4 years. Navigator I don't want you to think I am picking on you but I don't know anyone else on this forum that doesn't believe that the 2020 election was not stolen, I am sure there are I just don't know who they are. Also like I have said you and others have the blind spots that I have talked about, but all of you also have a lot of knowledge and brains which contribute a lot to this forum.
I would just ask anyone on this forum one simple question, if there is no cheating going on or at least not in large enough numbers then why are the democrats against voter ID, why do they go to court and fight the removal of voters that are either dead or have moved out of state from the states voter rolls? Here's another question, why has the biden administration been allowing so many illegals to come into the country and then settling them in swing states and red states. I am sure this is just a coincidence. Here is another, why do they pass laws so that illegals can get drivers licenses and of course laws and regulations where by you can register to vote at the DMV at the same time you get a license or do any updates to your license?

Thinker - you are a decent person and certainly not insulting me. I don't feel you are picking on me.

I know a LOT of people that feel the same way you do. And I certainly understand it. I just wish that any of the claims you just mentioned were actually presented in court. They could have been presented in a court with a conservative judge. None were. Instead, members of the Trump team have pleaded Guilty to racketeering/election fraud in Georgia (Sidney Powell most prominent).

You are correct that Democrats have made it extremely easy to vote multiple times, for illegals to vote, and are trying to pack areas with such people to influence the election. Unfortunately, the current lack of voter ID laws makes this rather easy. This is what needs to change, yet there is no way Democrats will go for it. And, unless someone is actually caught in the act, they will get away with it.

This might change during a WWIII event when we find out there are all kinds of enemy combatant illegals in the country, and we have to actually fight them and root them out.

The whole illegal immigration thing isn't just a voter issue. (Luckily, many Latinos vote conservative and are undermining the Dem plan in this area). The liberals think that Americans are too rich because they have "oppressed others" (which is a crock for the most part), and that we have an obligation to give our wealth to the poor of the world. The liberals are all about forcible income redistribution. And that is what is utterly appalling and extremely scary about them.

The illegals need to go. I have written in the past how it is costing the collective US taxpayer $60K per year per illegal. THATS A LOT. I applaud Govs Abbott and DeSantis in sending these people to the liberal NE so that they can pay for it. Pretty soon New York and Boston (and other areas) are going to bankrupt themselves to the point that they can't offer basic services to the non-illegal community. And maybe that's when at least some of these people will wake up.

As for my opinions, I will go with the evidence, not the hearsay.

Together with cyber attacks, this will be amongst the biggest thrusts to take us down quickly. Like Obama's movie Leave the World Behind. Taking advantage of the enemies weaknesses is the strongest advantage that they have against us. We'll soon find out how well we can stick together or destroy the Republic. There's no guarantee of us winning and we're in an extremely vulnerable position.

I think everyone made up their mind in the short period after the election. Election night we went to bed with Trump as the apparent winner, and then huge amounts of 'mail-in' ballots appeared in the most critical areas and nothing was transparent. Then nothing was done to assuage everyone who was suspicious, it became a shit show and the Capitol demonstration was used to brush it under the rug. And nothing has been resolved since, for the part. John documented it quite well at the time. Same conditions now except we're Way more divided and suspicious of the process. It will be surprising if we're not knocked down or out. As you said, Navigator, Walz is on the side of the CCP and perhaps will welcome them in. Although remote, it's a possibility. Sadly

I'm wondering how he plans to keep those promises.

First, I am glad that Trump won over Harris. She and her running mate are Communists. She is to the LEFT of Bernie Sanders, and he is a CCP loving stooge. While I do point out Trump's shortcomings, they pale in comparison to what the Democrats have put forward as candidates since Bill Clinton.

Here is what I think he will do about these 3:
1 - He is going to end aid to Ukraine. All of it. No money, no weapons, no ammunition. He hates Ukraine for not helping him show what crooks the Bidens are during the 2020 election. He would be happy to see them gone as a result/payback. Without US support, Ukraine will not last very long. They will be forced to negotiate, and Russia can basically dictate terms.

2 - I think he is going to give Netanyahu a free hand in Gaza and Lebanon. The Israelis have been holding back somewhat due to the current Dem administration. He will let them do whatever they want to Iran and to even relocate people out of Gaza. It is pretty hard to hide people among the population when an area is completely depopulated.

3 - The Feds can withhold funding to states/municipalities that fail to screen illegals for benefits. He can deport anyone who is convicted of a crime. With Republican control of congress, he can get a lot of anti-illegal laws passed.

For those who have been convinced since 2020 that elections are rigged and that the "deep state" manipulated things to "steal the election" in 2020:

If that was true, why didn't it happen this time? Heck, the Dems/Liberals have had almost all the instruments of power for the last four years. They would have been much more able to rig and steal the election this time if that is what happened in 2020.

The point is that the electoral system is working pretty well. It worked in 2020 (although Trump and others felt this wasn't true),and it has worked in 2024. In fact, it has worked so well that not only did Trump get elected, but he swept the so-called battleground states, AND Republicans have clear control of both Houses of Congress (plus have a conservative Supreme Court).

This happened even when MSM coverage of Trump was universally bad, and Harris was never seriously held accountable for her record or complete lack of a platform. The majority saw through this and voted accordingly.

Now that the Liberals have totally failed in the latest election, we will shortly see how they decide to "keep fighting" if they can't win at the ballot box with Marxist candidates.
