Personally, I expect China's new military budget to be around 105 billion, based on how much it has increased in the past. Even on a PPP basis, that would be 168 billion. Then since their real military budget is considerably higher than that, I would put it at around 250-300 billion in comparison to ours.

As for the Dow Jones, isn't this what usually happens in the buildup to a financial collapse? Most people are celebrating and the few people who know it can't last are blown off as alarmist. Thankfully, I don't have anything in the stock market.
