I agree with you, but not for the reasons you give.
The CCP had a logical, step-by-step plan for taking over the world.
The plan was logical, but expecting the result they wanted was
delusional.
There's a saying about the battle plan being the first casualty of the
battle. The CCP plan has worked pretty well for most of the last 20
years. But my point is that Trump's refusal to sign the US-China
trade deal threw them off their script, and then Trump's shutting down
travel to the US in January 2020 threw them off their script again.
And now the delta variant is throwing them off their script again.
So their script is now really in shambles, and they're striking
desperately out in all directions, with multiple border disputes,
plans for quick victory of Taiwan and continuous nuclear bombing of
Japan.
This is where I agree with you. Their step-by-step script is in
shambles but, as you say, "they're hellbent on overtaking the west at
any cost," so now they're desperate, and they'll try anything.
Chi Haotian says that Japan made a disastrous mistake by bombing Pearl
Harbor. Well, it's reasonable to believe that the Japanese plans were
failing, and they had to do something desperate, and bombing Pearl
Harbor was their only choice.
So if China's step-by-step script is in shambles then, as you suggest,
China will have to take desperate steps that are just as stupid as
bombing Pearl Harbor. I think that the most likely step is to launch
a war on the US, Japan and Taiwan.
You suggest that their next step might be something to do with
vaccines. I don't understand how that would work. I guess they might
try using their own Sinovac or Sinopharm vaccine to infect people
across Asia, but it would take less than a week for that to be
discovered. So I don't think that would work any better than the
"Wuhan world infection strategy" worked.
That's why I believe that launching a full-scale attack is the only
desperate move they have. As you say, life in the world will be very
bleak. I don't think the war will take a decade, though. Full-scale
world wars tend to last only about five years. So don't say that I
never predict any good news.
