Container shipping price index up 4% in just the last week:

When people buy things ahead of time, because they expect prices to go up, there are more things to ship,
and the velocity of money goes up, and prices go up.

This increases my confidence that Aug 11 CPI number will be higher than expected.
But Vince, if we keep saying the word transitory ... they just have to believe us! Forget the data and reality, we have language we can work with here! It's ironic that John doesn't see this as exactly the same tactic used by the left that he rightfully despises.

I state facts and make conclusions based on those facts and data. When you can't counter the fact or dispute the conclusion, it is telling. That's my point. Vince has been pointing out the same thing.

Are you finally going to admit that either you were wrong about inflation continuing, or that you are abusing language and terms by just refusing to admit that transitory wasn't what you and others first concluded it would be?

Remember, like survival, everything is "transitory".

If you actually believe what you've written, you're delusionary.

There are no facts and data to support your claim of permanent
inflation. You're just like CNN. You make things up, and try to
"cancel" anyone who disagrees with you.

Great counter (= you didn't counter it of course), name calling.

Who said I said "permanent" inflation? Although we can discuss that, that hasn't been my point of view. Try reading just a few of my numerous recent posts. What's more, inflation has been occurring for YOUR ENTIRE LIFE - so even on that basis, of course, you are the delusional one.

Do you dispute that your purchasing power has eroded (inflation) and cost of living have risen your entire life?

I'd love to hear an actual response if you disagree.

Since I'm a truth seeker, I would like to be corrected, if you can correct me I'll be all the more content having learned something more accurate about life currently.

You say it isn't transitory. Now you say it isn't permanent. Which
is it?

You're just like CNN with Trump. You make things up and say the
opposite of whatever I say.

Here's an article that says that the virus mutations might fizzle out,
or might evolve into something that could kill one in three.

Thanks for posting that. I haven't heard that interview since I
transcribed part of it in 2006. It's really mind-blowing. China's
ambassador Sha Zukang screams at the top of his lungs at any mention
of Taiwan or any mention of China's militarization.
The real threat of mutations is due to Antibody Dependent Enhancement.

There is nothing superior to natural immunity. Becoming infected with the virus and taking antivirals is better then taking a vaccine that only allows your immune system to target very specific parts of the virus. Listen to Dr. Simone Gold explain it.

French Virologist and Nobel Prize Winner Luc Montagnier states that the Covid jab is causing Antibody-Dependent Enhancement and creating new variants.

Luc Montagnier is only the virologist who isolated HIV from AIDs patients, so I doubt he knows what he is talking about

As for me, I have a Wild Ass Guess that inflation in the 2020s will be high, based on my basic understanding of economics and of what has been happening so far this decade. John has been studying inflation for 20 years and disagrees.
But what I am really disagreeing on is that, over those 20 years, we have had about 19 and 1/2 years of inflation (especially in the last half year) and maybe half a year of deflation (in 2009) and slight deflation at that. John has been stating the economy is deflationary ( not 'disflationary') all that time. It is the record I am talking about here, not "the 2030s".

Everyone knows that the natural history of virus is less virulent. Complete propaganda, especially for a seasonal virus, which coronaviruses are. If a novel virus actually arose, then that's a different story, but as I've been telling you for the better part of the year, anyone with a medical degree and those even without that know anything about this topic just using research and common sense understand this.

What's also known in medicine, if you aren't a propagandist and doing the water carrying for a political movement, is that a positive test is NOT a "case" or "infection" necessarily. This should be patently obvious to any critical thinker.

tim of course is correct. Given these realities, the conclusion is:

1. Vaccine takers are those actually responsible for the "variants" should any arise - exactly the opposite of the claim, another lie exposed by the leftists as being the exact opposite of their claims.

2. Why are they so keen on getting everyone vaccinated (with an IFR of 0.26% https://www.medrxiv.org/content/10.1101 ... 20101253v2?), even those that have already confronted and defeated the virus. That is the definition of stupidity and doing people harm.

Everyone here should know why, the extent of their evil is the only debatable topic.

I have speculated before on what's really going on, but the covid-19 information campaign and response are total scams.
