Re: Inflation, deflation, gold and currencies
I don't understand why after US Government printed a lot of money to bailout, the Gold price dropped? If a lot of money is printed, money value will drop and gold price will raise, isn't it? Here is one more interesting article about real gold and "paper gold" created by central bankers... http://w...

Re: Inflation, deflation, gold and currencies
Personaly, I think that this comment is interesting: What I see happening is that some things are getting less expensive (ie, furniture, vacation travel, fancy electronics, anything else we can do without) while other things are getting more expensive (ie, food, utilities, anything else we really ha...

Re: Inflation, deflation, gold and currencies
I don't understand why after US Government printed a lot of money to bailout, the Gold price dropped? If a lot of money is printed, money value will drop and gold price will raise, isn't it? We're in a deflationary spiral, so the price of everything is falling. There's no reason why gold should be ...

Re: China
China is going to talk about dumping their Treasuries until they are blue in the face. Why? Because every time they do that, treasuries fall and yields rise. A more probable reason for China's accumulation of metal is something often discussed on these pages: war. StilesBC Please. Think twice: http...

Fed Using Currency Swaps To Boost The Dollar
As "tribute" to all "explanations" of the GD "theorist" (about "strong dollar" between others... ;) ) - on this site I can give this one: http://www.bloomberg.com/apps/news?pid=20601087&sid=azpTLGVCnwvk&refer=home Of course it is not FIRST time that FED making this failed policy: http://www.ustreas....

Re: Inflation, deflation, gold and currencies

Please rethink your reasoning as you are missing something. With best regards, Theeconomy.. Hi Theeconomy, Sorry for th...

The Deflation - is impossible in fiat money system
Malleni, The vast majority of what you hear about "printing" isn't actually printing. It is fiddling around with numbers on a screen. You need to understand the difference between money and credit (Geld und Schuld. Es gibt ein grosse Unterschied). We have been tricked into believing that they are t...

Re: Financial topics
... So is Peter Schiff a bad guy? No. But it needs to be pointed out where he was wrong. He got most of the basics right and then he failed to predict the correct outcome and so his initial thesis went to waste. --Fred Freddy, I can agree just partly with your logic. Namely - that Shiff until now d...

StilesBC Please respond to this ....http://www.europac.net/externalframeset.asp?from=home&id=15761&type=schiff Thanks Gtate I refuted all of those arguments in my two posts. I agree with Schiff that the Fed are totally insane. But they are not nearly as powerful as he claims. If they could stop the...
