Re: 25-Jan-15 World View -- Measles blamed on anti-vaccine

What is the problem with a child having measles??? I had it when I was little (I'm in my sixties), my 4 children born in the seventies and eighties had measles when they were 3 or 4 years old. They were sick for about 4 or 5 days, and that was it, end of story! I mean, it's not tuberculosis :!: In t...

Re: 8-Jan-15 World View -- The West versus Muslim jihadists

The millions peaceful people are totally helpless against the determined and armed radicals. In France, honest peaceful people have been disarmed long ago. Only the police, the deliquents, and the terrorists are armed, and these last two, very well provided. When, very rarely, an honest innocent per...

oldguy100, what you write here is so true!
Unfortunately I live in a country where the state has denied this right to its citizens for a long long time. Consequently ordinary honest citizens are left undefended faced with both the criminals and the state.

Because of his religious status as a Grand Imam, his body was treated with a ritual washing ceremony like I said before and was ridiculed, the bug would spread faster because of islamic rituals. Completely agree. But does it matter really since religions usually bring about death one way or another...

I agree completely.

"Great Britain has failed to do this and finds themselves generating more home grown terrorist Muslims than Brits in opposition to Islam."
And the same applies in France and probably elsewhere in Europe.

As a former christian finally turned atheist I would rather, if I had to and had the choice, live in Israel than in any muslim country around the world, be it rich or poor, arab or not.

Re: 6-Aug-14 World View -- Cyclic anti-Semitism surges in Eu

I don't know anything about the rest of Europe but in France and especially in Paris the anti-Jews protests and violence come essentially from the arab muslim north-african community who are also, by the way, anti-Christians. Some protesters are extreme left-wing as well but without the violence, I ...

Re: 25-Jun-14 World View -- European youth join ISIS

About these so-called European youth, it reminds me a lot of the "French" youth who killed 4 people at the jewish museum in Brussels a month ago after returning from a rather long stay in Syria with ISIS. When he was arrested in the south of France all the media were repeating: he's a Frenchman, "or...
