Re: 24-Dec-18 World View -- Generational Dynamics analysis of the troop withdrawal from Syria

John, I think you contribute a lot, and I hope that you would stick around as long as you can contribute. I would hope that you would consider relocation as a viable alternative. Shreveport and Lubbock are both very nice places. You can get a decent apartment in the downtown district in either place...

Re: Generational Dynamics World View News

Getting back to current events, I think a worrisome development that is not getting much notice are Putin's efforts to "merge" Russia with Belarus. I think that he may be close to forcing the issue (a financial crisis would allow him to "seal the deal"). This would give him an option to what happens...

Re: Generational Dynamics World View News

This is roughly what I think will happen with WW III. The next world war will utterly destroy the socialist states. They will no longer be able to provide for their citizens. And the people do not have the social structures to compensate for this. This will lead to a post WW III period for Europe t...

Re: Generational Dynamics World View News

I thought it might help explain my points of view if I explained a bit how I came to Generational Dynamics, and how my views align (or do not align) with this system/philosophy. As a hobbyist historian, I found it curious that the major events in US History seemed to follow an 80 year cycle. 80 year...

John,

Why not move to a location where you can make ends meet? Say Shreveport or Lubbock? I think you live in a pretty high-rent district.

You have a lot to contribute, it would be sad to lose your voice.

Re: Generational Dynamics World View News

One of the biggest problems we face is the polarization of politics. Each side needs to understand the other. I wrote about this here: https://comingstorms.com/the-fundamental-difference/ I think that a couple of things COULD potentially have saved us from the current situation, but I believe it is ...

Re: Generational Dynamics World View News

Couldn't agree more on what is about to happen to China.

I wrote about this on my blog in November 2017.

Re: Generational Dynamics World View News

You don't go to war with just your navy. If you are going to start a war, the troops and their supplies for an invasion have to be moved to their embarkation ports and loaded onto ships. The air force then redeploys to airbases near the coast. The great example of this is how the Japanese got everyt...

Re: Generational Dynamics World View News

As we discuss "Coming Wars" it is important that people realize that there is usually a process that is followed. While shooting or shelling across the border (or even an airstrike or two) is technically an act of war, in most hotspots this frequently occurs, and yet a war does not result. This is b...
