Re: Inflation, deflation, gold and currencies

Very interesting! US Dollar as the Sole, Global Reserve Currency to End! Of considerably more importance is the impact on global foreign exchanges and the role of the U.S. dollar as the world's sole global reserve currency. For more than two years now Gold, Silver Forecaster have been predicting tha...

Re: Financial topics

BAC is below its 200-day SMA. Not a good sign for fund managers who don't like to hold stocks under five bucks! The next few weeks will be interesting for Bank of America. The Chinese housing market has been under pressure for a few years as China is experiencing their version of a housing bubble. T...

Re: Financial topics

Let me start by saying that all of the current indicators are pointing towards deflation. What indicators are you speaking of? I happen to agree with you, but what is your rationale for oil prices? Currently we are meeting 40% of our daily operating expenses with borrowed money. Would our citizens ...

Re: Financial topics

What will very likely be a clear sign that recovery will start soon will be for the guy who spends less in a political campaign to be the clear winner. Have that happen on a large scale, and it will show people have decided they have to pay attention again. And that's the only way this crazy govern...

Re: Financial topics

The reason for all the money printing is to prevent deflation. Don't forget the Federal government confiscated gold in the 1930s, and entered into the Bretton Woods act in the early 1940s. Without access to easy credit, people would not spend, effectively causing deflation. Inflation is money chasin...
