Re: Financial topics

You know, Raymonde, you may be able to figure this out better than I can. I live far away in Boston, but you're right there in the middle of things in Paris. What do you think is going to happen? Re: Financial topics

I've written many times (mostly in bits and pieces) that in the coming Clash of Civilizations world war, the "allies" will be the United States, India, Russia and Iran, while the "axis" will be China, Pakistan, and the Sunni Muslim countries. Re: 31-Jul-15 World View -- 'Swarm' of migrants causing crisis at Eurotunnel from France to Britain

About your readers, could you tell us if they are from many countries around the world? And specifically, the proportion of Europeans among them? Thank you in advance if you can answer my questions.

"When someone tells you that they want to kill you, believe them."

Agreed! And let's just assume that when they have finished killing each other (sunni, shia, whatever..), they will be so tired and disgusted by the bloodshed that they won't come after us.

I have an inkling of that sense of tragedy you talk about because when I was 15 and 16 I was lucky enough to attend classes that were called "Textes anciens". We studied Homer's Iliad, Aeschylus's The Persians, Sophocles's Antigone, and Euripides's Iphigenia in Aulis (all of these in a translation i...
