War would plunge mainland China into instant famine. It's only massive food shipments, which arrive on hundreds of ships every day, that keep the Chinese alive. The world doesn't grow enough food for the Chinese to stockpile adequate amounts food needed to survive the blockade that would follow the beginning of a war. The Chinese are short sighted. Have they not thought this out?

First, I do not believe that ever at any time in history "international law" has existed. Our intel family UN opening eve table conversation was adamant regarding memories of the failed League of Nations.
John points out the foolhardiness of palavering with those who obfuscate what were once common term definitions. The west learned nothing from the Korean table shape stalling. Nothing.
China and Russia are preparing and acting. All these public protestations proclaim is that reality has set in: they are no longer dealing with traitor barry. The two communist nations upped the ante themselves and must now live, or not, with the results.
