I don't disagree that President Obama is irresolute - not to decide is to decide as the Romans say - which is the mark of a poor leader. But, strategically, it's in Americas best interest not to intervene and even allow Assad to win. Let the Moslem world fight each other. It's not pretty but it makes strategic sense.

Having said that there is nothing wrong with the USA helping the refugees. Especially the most marginalized and vulnerable of the lot - the Christians.
