I would not be surprised if Syria is invaded moments after Assad decamps, in order to secure all those gas weapons. Doubtless they've already gotten papers from the rebels authorizing some such in return for support or intelligence or some future promise.

Having seen a fair bit of Iraq firsthand, and talked to too many people with too many tall tales about WMD's, I would not touch the subject with a ten foot pole.
