Wall Street is trying to dump stock . Michael Lewis was struck by how much pay he received for doing who knows what on Wall Street. I would venture out of every 50 people you see quoted from Wall Street, 35 are totally incompetent and maybe 8 or so are properly educated and have researched any opinions they give publically.
As far as the Nobel goes? They are politically motivated. They give the Economics prize to morons who support their purposes, like Krugman.
