John, somewhat similar to MarvyGuy I found your site linked, in a comment, in the comment section of another site.
cheers

I remember back when I used to get the Britebart RSS (do 2011-ish) an article arrived every day that seemed more informative than ALL the rest, and often went against the “grain” from the other reporting. Thanks to the link associated with the article I found myself reading the Generational Dynamics for Historians and was totally convinced that this was the tool to put it all together for the big picture of what was going on, and the why things had happened before. I have been hooked ever since and read it daily ever since.

I often view this site as macrocosm and for microcosm I go to other sites trying to find those very few reporting on what is really taking place. Unfortunately, I have yet to find a truly complementary microcosm. With the various political viewpoints, and subsequent trolls it is hard to get a clear picture at the micro level.

So John thanks for all of the hard work. Reading through the Iliad (I mean who ever reads Homer all the way through anymore – I suspect much of the beauty is lost) I can sympathize with Hector striving mightily against the Argives, knowing the end would come, but he went out and strove as long as he could. Quo Vadis.

There's no way for me to tell, as readers don't identify themselves except
by e-mail address, and most of those are like gmail or hotmail or yahoo.

As an alternative, I've been thinking about taking the ip addresses of
people who visit my web site from the web site logs, and then
determining what countries they're from. I have to write some
software to do it, but it would be an interesting project.

And John has been critical of the Obama Administration, so there is that.
It has been said that the US uses only the force that is necessary, and keeps the good stuff for when it is really needed. This is a wise and shrewd move, for your opponent doesn't know what is up your sleeve. The US has come up with some surprises in spite of the politicians, who the military doesn't trust

About ten years ago I could go to a site and apply to US Space Command ( a very interesting interactive site regarding military space activities , I am to old ) this appears to be gone --- for a reason? preparation?

The coming events could be very "interesting"

Whew! Absolutely stunning!

Why don't you give a specific example, instead of just blabbering on
and on about how awful the U.S. is.
