Yes, the zero day options are the rage.
McClellan over at Wealthion (Friday interview) thinks the depression is coming, and the recession part starts in earnest April 1.
Not trying to fool you, either

This got my attention because Tom McClellan has not been one to be calling for a recession or worse at any time in the past 10 years that I am aware of.Cool Breeze wrote: ↑Mon Mar 06, 2023 4:05 pmYes, the zero day options are the rage.

While the periphery breaks down rather slowly at first, the capital cities of the hegemon should collapse suddenly and violently.

Net is going tbills from option pits theta carry for tbills as they blather about just trade between the lines as they kill

Sharp dude. I agree with him. His prediction on 2H 2024 collapse is that there is a 10 year lag with bottoming of oil prices (fracking, 2014) and a market collapse.Higgenbotham wrote: ↑Mon Mar 06, 2023 4:38 pmThis got my attention because Tom McClellan has not been one to be calling for a recession or worse at any time in the past 10 years that I am aware of.Cool Breeze wrote: ↑Mon Mar 06, 2023 4:05 pmYes, the zero day options are the rage.

My prediction still is 20% down for markets his year, maybe 30%. That just takes them to historical valuations, in any case.

Re: Financial topics
If USA goes into recession later in 2023 then 20% down from 4000 is a fair forecast i.e SP500 is circa 4000 less 20% = 3200
30% down is also easily possible
But this is not the generational dynamics prediction; their prediction is much, much lower when things really implode; P/E ratio below 10, earnings in tatters, panic at a peak, and a low at 10% of the 4800 peak is possible i.e. 480

Re: Financial topics
Vince,
With respect to your recent post I am seeing a current 2023 S&P 500 chart similarity to the 2000 to 2003 bear market
There was a failed break in April of 2002 and then the index dropped another 27%
This observation may or may not be valid. Lets see
