So would you expect Mexico to be an ally or enemy during WWIII?

Trevor:
Do you refer to mexicans in Mexico or the
mexican illegal invaders/occupiers in America?
John:
The bottom line for those of us who remember WWII and have lived through the disintegration of societal values, the question is not if we would war for America but for what we would fight. I wouldn't walk across the street for barry. However, defending the Judeo/Christian precepts upon which America was founded would move me to battle.
I know the inner and outer costs of violence. Each life is unique. The chasm between those who value individuality and righteous words and actions and those who seek to control and quash personal freedoms grows daily. The question now is whether a uniting event will take place before uncivil war breaks out and spreads. The biggest impediment to gaining balance is the media. As with public school indoctrination, we are bombarded with agitating propaganda rather than facts. Will the triggering event cause uniting or warring reactions?

Well, it's a lot more complicated than that. The Mexican Revolution
was a civil war, and the US supported one side. If there's another
civil war, then the US may support one side or the other, but it will
be very different because we and Mexico will both be fighting the
Chinese and their allies. (I do not believe that Mexico will ally
with China, though there's no way to tell what some other Latin
American countries will do.)

Also, as we've discussed in other threads, the country will look
nothing like the way it does today. Nuclear missiles will have
wiped out dozens of large cities, and EMP blasts will have wiped
out electric grids, transportation, and computer systems for
most people. What that will mean for the relationship between
the US and Mexico is anyone's guess.

Thank you, John, for pointing out that America's wrongly assume that our land will again be exempt from the rockets' glare and bombs bursting in air. Pompeo is headed for Red Line 1.

Kim can launch a nuke against the US, the problem for him is that KJU has no means of ensuring that North Korea would still exist and that KJU is still breathing several hours later. Until that changes he can't launch.

Are you assuming that Kim cares about any North Korean but himself?

How does Kim intend to win a war with the US, Nations start wars because they expect to win the wars they start. Hitler had no intention of destroying Germany as what happened in 1941, he fully expected a German victory both in 1939 and in 1941 ( and did get a victory to the greater extent in 1939, he lost only when he attempted to expand his conquests in 1941 (Barbarossa and later declaring war on the US was really conceived as a separate war from the European war with Britain and France). Our enemies are not suicide bombers, even Bin Laden attacked with a war plan for victory.

Bin laden lost the war on terror, Al-Qaeda was destroyed, and US forces are still stationed throughout the Middle east. Bin laden's stated war aims, driving America out of the middle east, and uniting the Islamic world under a Sunni Jihadist caliphate, were resounding failures. He did damage the US economy somewhat but it has since recovered, the 2008 recession was caused by entirely different reasons.
