Who is supplying the warring factions with weapons and helicopters? This seems to be fueled by outside pot stirrers.

Aljazeera reports that since Burma's supposed transition to independence, weapons have been supplied by China, Russia, India, Israel and Ukraine. Both America and the EU have not been suppliers. I am curious as to whether China, Russia and India have any input into Burma's use of those weapons.
Or is this strictly an internal tribal matter?

the Rohingyas, but are fully supporting Burma's ethnic cleansing.
India has its own problem with Rohingyas, so India is supporting
Burma's ethnic cleansing of Rohingyas.
China is extracting large volumes of oil and natural gas from reserves
off the cost of Rakhine State, so China is supporting Burma's ethnic
cleansing of Rohingyas.
India also has huge infrastructure projects in Rakhine.

With regard to the Kachins and ethnic Chinese Kokangs in northern
Burma, the fighting is going on in a region of Burma adjacent to
China's Yunnan province. China does NOT want a flood of refugees from
Burma fleeing into China, the way that Rohingyas are flooding into
Bangladesh. And so, China is fully supporting Burma's army in
massacring the Northern Alliance ethnic groups, as long as Burma does
not repeat what it did in Rakhine.

This is Just Boomer Globalist Biases run a muck. India and China have both realized that stability in southeast Asia is what should be desired. Indeed the realization of this need for stability and the need for a shared policy in the region is probably why China and India backed off from war at Doklam last year. The Governments of Modi and Xi Jinping should be commended for the realization that a compromise was needed and also that a stable southeast Asia and a stable Burma, advanced the cause of regional peace and advanced the cause of world peace.John wrote:There are a lot of people who are paying lip-service to the plight ofsue wrote: > Aljazeera reports that since Burma's supposed transition to
