No doubt China will have its own flavor of Blitzkrieg
Re: 22-Mar-18 World View -- How China would lose a war with the United States
John is correct. China has shown it's true colors too many times now. Belt and Road is colonization. It just a sham to entrap countries. China is a thug wearing a cheap suit and a fake Rolex. The Chinese, like the Russians, believe they are smarter than everyone else. But the gross dishonesty is apparent to most. I also doubt China's armaments. Are they built to China's low standards? There officer corps is inexperienced and corrupt; many officers have bribed their way into positions. What kind of army is that? China will destroy the civilized world, but the Chinese people everywhere will pay the price.

John and Guest;
Indeed we are agreed. Xi and dictating regime folks (never mind "elections") talk with each other, repeating the rhetoric until the goals are merely mind-accomplished. While hostages such as Sri Lanka may appear to be compliant, dissent grows and will eventually overcome the sense of their being isolated victims.
Well, Kenya gave us barry, the cultural divider vulture. Now they have a physical reminder. Take back your native son. He has the progressive bucks to bridge the gaps with imported "migrants".
Afghanistan. We remain either seriously overmanned or undermanned there. While I grasp the strategic base, the ISIS resurgence and CIA poppy fields plus American infidel targets make plenty of land mine and sniper, village pillaging forays very possible. Meanwhile our home borders go UNPROTECTED, either keeping out illegal invaders and escorting deportation buses in the south or aiding emigres to Trudeau's welcoming Canada in the north. (But then we have those deep state and Pentagon brass strategists lobbying for budget funds, so we're safe.)

Trump's --delayed--trade war with China will annihilate the Chinese economy. The Chinese used the Norks to delay it; now President Trump will double down on them. Maybe China bleed out of the eyeballs. America will suffer, but the Chinese will suffer more.

Some geologists doubt Africa will split, such as Christopher Robert Scotese:

And for a real long term view, here are three different versions of what the continents will look like in 250 million years:

As I understand it, the name of this animal is the "Din-Din":

China's tariffs on American food seem self defeating. The Chinese can't buy the volumes of high quality food from anyone else. The tariffs won't last long. The tariffs also expose how little the Chinese buy from us. The trade deficit is scandalous- even treasonable. The political class of the US have betrayed America.
