I agree that China is increasingly nervous about their pet pit bull.
I agree that when China judges herself to be ready, military conflict with the U.S. will occur. But China does not want an unwinnable nuclear confrontation with America. It wants Taiwan and unfettered regional domination. China is betting that it can create the pre-conditions that will allow it to decisively defeat an American naval carrier group sent to stop China's takeover of Taiwan. China is betting that should that occur, America will not escalate the conflict into a pyrrhic nuclear confrontation.

Could the election of a new South Korean President ,who is looked upon as a north Korean sympathizer, delay a second Korean War? It seems President Moon could reverse all the policies of the last 9 years, including sending THAAD back to America. Some analysts think that North Korea is still planning to overrun South Korea. This new President sounds like a useful idiot. He's talking about reuniting Korea, but he doesn't say how. North Korea openly endorsed this guy in the press before the election. Have the South Koreans caved in?
