China might Attack sooner - rather than later

.

China is widely believed to enjoy a strategic advantage in this military capability.

China may believe it is a decisive advantage, and some in the west believe they are right, depending on just how deeply China has penetrated the computer code that runs Americas infrastructure and Americas advanced weapons systems.

The following may change that, so it argues for an attack by China on the United States sooner, rather than later.
From the article linked below wrote:
And while the American military faces deep budgets cuts, the Pentagon recently approved a major expansion of its so-called “Cyber Command”.

Currently around 900-strong, the country’s cybersecurity force will swell to some 4,900 troops in the next few years, according to The Washington Post.

The US could launch pre-emptive cyber strikes against countries it suspects of threatening its interests with a digital attack, under a new set of secret guidelines to safeguard the nation’s computer systems.

The rules – the country’s first on how it defends or retaliates against digital attacks – are expected to be approved in coming weeks, and are likely to be kept under wraps, much like the policies governing the country’s controversial drone programme.

IMHO, the above is one of the few trends that would argue for China to attack sooner, rather than later.

In most other strategic balance of power areas Obama is accelerating the decline of the United States while China's capabilities are rising.
