-- European Parliamentary election

There are two significant facts about Sunday's Parliamentary election
in Europe on Sunday:

  • Turnout was at a record low, indicating that Europeans don't take
    the European Union very seriously.
  • Election results indicate a sharp swing to the right. This is
what generational theory would predict in the current crisis
    era.

It's likely that this is going to force an election in Britain,
challenging the Labor government, possibly giving control to the
Tories.
