New York City - support for a peoples homeland -

I do not mean to imply that both are the same, or that the consequences will be the same, but the similarity of the trappings and music is interesting.

Events 73 years apart.

Remember what Mark Twain said: "History may not repeat itself, but it often rhymes." There was also an attempt at independence that was crushed in a previous crisis war, 1640 to 1659.
