The American ambassador to China just quit and left China. The Chinese government says they learned about it from the news. I guess he's getting the heck out of Dodge before the shooting starts.

I have zero interest in surviving a nuclear war.

I don't have the income right now to afford $100. Times are rather tough for me. How much will the completed paper edition cost? I would rather have that than a digital edition.
I can certainly appreciate that.

To save costs, we will just put out the book in pdf format. The final book would be $20-25.

Each copy will be watermarked to show the purchaser (that way, if bootleg copies get out, we can trace them to a source). You can print the pdf, either at home or at a copy place. Sorry, but printing will be up to you.

If you donated in the new campaign for book funding, you should have received an email through GoFundMe with a confirmation code.

If you donated to the previous campaign, you are going to have to send me an email describing the amount, the date of the transaction, and your name/email so John and I can verify it and send you a confirmation code.

You can message me here, or at navigator@comingstorms.com

The point I'm trying to make is that this has nothing to do with
ideology or religion.

Religion is about whether you go to church on Sunday. Ideology is
about whether you support a 22 or 28 percent tax rate. So when you
blame something on a man's ideology or religion, you're absolving him.
Everyone's entitled to their own ideology, so you can't blame him for
his ideology. Same with religion. Or, if the person's religion is
some "enemy" religion, whether Christianity or Islam, then you can
blame the actual religion, rather then the person. So the man is
absolved either way.

There is no ideology or religion that supports a man beating up his
wife, or lynching a black, or destroying a city, or destroying a
country, or committing genocide (unless you're at war). So these
crimes have nothing to do with either ideology or religion.

Every day I see the worst of human behavior. I don't write about it
every day, but I see it every day. A politician destroying a city,
country or population, or torturing someone for saying the wrong
thing, or killing someone for no reason, and then defending it with
the usual crap that comes out of the mouths of politicians. I've
developed very strong negative feelings about the mental sickness of
humans, to the extent that I sometimes question my own sanity. This
is in the DNA, and is irrespective of religion or ideology.

I do not agree that mental illness absolves someone of a crime. It's
true that "insanity" is a defense for some crimes, but that just means
that he's locked up in a mental institution instead of prison.

So when the Nazis kill the Jews or when Maduro destroys Venezuela or
when Lori Lightfoot destroys Chicao or Ted Wheeler destroys Portland,
I'm not willing to attach a religion or ideology in any way, because
every religion and ideology is the same. To me, it's a mental
illness.
John, we spoke (wrote) past each other here, but please clarify, do you have knowledge of the Orthodox faith? I'm uncertain due to the way that you responded; just an honest question. I ask because you seem to think that people denying the truth of the world are the same with those who love life/goodness/truth/virtue, the eternal things, which are of course both God and are of God. Every religion and ideology is the same? That's an odd thing for a learned man to say, first because they are so objectively different even when one doesn't consider (the most important part) their metaphysical qualities.

You seem to unfortunately conclude that all evil or deceived "ideologies" or "belief systems" are the same. Well, yes, of course they share many sad characteristics. That doesn't mean anything other than that in itself --- what's more, you presuppose that mental illness is bad (of course) and that the alternative is good, which gets at the heart of my real point.

The draft of the first quarter of the book "How to Prepare for the Coming Storms" is done.

It will need to be reviewed for grammar and those pesky misspellings that make it through auto-correct, but the content is done.

Based on feedback, I did make a minor change. I only got a couple of pages into specific preparations, so I wrote about the ones that will save your life rather than just to start to get into financial matters.

The manuscript will be available to those that have contributed $100 and up within a few days. If you have not donated, please do so. If you donated less than $100 previously, you can add to your previous donation to make this target, and you can have access.

I will stop writing at this point, as I previously declared, until we get the donations to compensate for writing the next quarter of the manuscript.
Navigator,

Since you are going to leave this out, what would be 1-3 top things financially that you would do. You can be general, just wondering what the specific financial topics would have revolved around. Being all in commodities? Getting out of all stocks/equities/financial devices? Being in a real estate location where food growth is possible? Does your timeline for this next/upcoming war (or John's) go past 2030 even?

Thanks.

The information you want will be in the first half of the book.

But, to pique interest, I would say that in general, people are looking at this from what I view as a limited angle. They are assuming that after WW3, things go back to the way they are right now. They WON'T. So what you do with assets in preparation for what is coming will need to be different from what people have commonly done in the past.

Q1 of Manuscript Ready

Post by Navigator »

The "First Quarter" of the manuscript of "How to Prepare for What's Coming" is now ready.

If you have donated $100 or more to the campaign, you can now get this material. You should have received a confirmation code (note that some of you only donated $50. In that case, your code is for when the book is half done, which is not yet).

Please send your confirmation code to me by email to this address:

navigator@comingstorms.com

I will then send you a watermarked copy of the manuscript. Note that your copy is for YOU ONLY, it is copyrighted by my company, and it is watermarked and password protected for a reason (that we can continue to get funding for completing it, and for supporting John's efforts here).

Please give me up to a day to get your email, prepare your personal copy, and send it to you by email.
