** 05-Jun-2019 Pushing the 'Publish' button for my book

My problem is that I keep finding interesting stuff to put into the
book, and this keeps delaying publication.

But this morning, I made some final changes to the draft.

At 11 am this morning, I finally pushed the "Publish" button.

Amazon will now review the book, and if there are no problems (and I
don't expect any), then the book should be available in three days.

By John James Xenakis
331 pages, $13.99 USD
Edition 1, ISBN: 978-1-7327386-3-8
Xenakis Publishing, Generational Theory Book Series

If you buy the book, please write a 5-star review.

** 05-Jun-2019 WW II veterans at commemoration of Normandy invasion

Image

Today the west is commemorating the 75th anniversary of D-Day,
where a convoy of ships carried 156,000 American, British
and Canadian troops across the English Channel, many of whom
were to face certain death upon landing on the Normandy beaches
of northern France, on June 6, 1944.

Hundreds of surviving veterans are attending the commemorations.

However, among the political leaders giving speeches at the
commemoration, only one was an actual veteran of World War II:
Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, daughter of King George VI,
who had served in the war as an auto mechanic.

That's true. And you have to admit that it would also be spectacular
if pigs started flying.
..and messy,.. and quite the achievement for the trans-species modification industry!

I just want a tiny dragon. No bigger than about a yard long or a bit smaller. Preferably green... but no firebreathing please. That just sounds like a nightmare during housetraining.

When Amazon reviews something, what does that mean? What problems could there be? Could they veto it because of its contents?

The thought crossed my mind, but I don't think so. There must
be thousands of books that Amazon sells that the CCP would
disapprove of.

My Iran book was initially rejected, but that was because the
lettering on the cover was too close to the edge. So I moved
the lettering on the cover away from the edge, and the book
was approved the next day.

Last year I wrote about a book by Australian analyst Clive Hamilton
called "Silent Invasion," and how several publishers refused to
publish it after threats from the CCP. That book is available from
Amazon, and the Chinese are furious about that book. I'm a nobody, so
the Chinese won't bother with me, I'm pretty sure.

You're not a nobody. I'm telling you. They know about you. I wonder if the CCP will be stupid enough to try to block your book? If they try, sales will soar, and that won't be good for the CCP. But, then again, the CCP seldom misses a chance to look bad...

I hope you book does well. The world needs it now.

** 06-Jun-2019 MS-NBC and Trump

I've been watching MS-NBC for the last half hour or so, and the
guests have been speaking cordially about Trump, and praising
his "you're the pride of our nation" speech at the D-day commemoration.

It's such a pleasure to see this, and gives me hope that there
are people on the left who aren't complete idiots 100% of the time.

Oooops. MS-NBC has just turned to the impeachment issue and
Nancy Pelosi saying that Trump should be in jail.

Well, it was really nice while it lasted.

'Saudi advancing ballistic missile program 'with help of China'
Saudi Arabia has reportedly been developing its ballistic missile program with the help of China, despite its US ally’s efforts to limit missile proliferation in the Middle East.

Riyadh has been purchasing technology from Beijing to bolster its arsenal as it seeks to counter Iran, according to a report by CNN.

The US, but not China, is part of a 1987 pact of nations that restricts missile exports, but Saudi has been keen to preserve an edge over its foe, which manufactures its own missiles.

Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman had said during a trip to the US in March that if Iran developed a nuclear weapon his country would “follow suit as soon as possible”.

The revelation has prompted concerns of a potential arms race in the region.

Risk Watch: How the CCP Could Do a ‘Pearl Harbor’ to Survive the ‘New Cold War’
Based on our research into the CCP, we believe that the Party and the regime cannot long withstand the perfect storm of political turmoil, economic crisis, food shortages, social unrest, and intense U.S. pressure. With its survival at stake, the CCP will not resign itself to fate and will instead do whatever it can, by all means fair and foul, to stay alive.
