The Shah was a progressive and a friend of America until the US stabbed him in the back.

Thanks for posting these links.
According to these videos, China is
suffering both internal and external
issues.

The internal problems start with the
collapsing economy. One thing that I
hadn't heard before is that the public
is comparing Xi's disastrous Covid-zero
policy to Mao's disastrous Great Leap
Forward. This has led to growing
tensions with the PLA, and coup threats
from a new generation, the "Second
Generation REDS," which may be roughly
similar to our Millenials.

The video quotes Mao as saying that
power comes from the barrel of a gun,
and therefore a Communist leader should
cause chaos, which would provoke a civil
war and a Communist victory. Xi has
recently been causing chaos by arresting
numerous political and military
officials, accusing them of corruption,
and sending them to jail. (The Biden
administration does something similar by
creating a crisis and then, saying
"Don't waste a crisis," using it to
attack or jail political opponents like
Trump supporters.)

China's external issues have to do with
taking advantage of America's foreign
policy weaknesses before it's too late
(i.e., before the November election.)
Xi believes that he has a big military
advantage over the US because he's not
afraid to kill Chinese people, while
Americans are afraid to kill Americans.

Yesterday's missile strikes by US and UK
on military targets in Yemen are
probably not enough to change this
calculation. This is being called a
major military escalation since it
brings America into a direct miilitary
confrontation with an Iranian proxy
which has been launching hundreds of
attacks on American and Israeli and
commercial shipping targets in Syria,
Iraq, and the Red Sea. China will
welcome American involvement in a
broader Mideast war because that will
use up American military resources that
would otherwise be available to defend
against a Chinese invasion of Taiwan.

Xi is a second generation red. It's the children of the founding men of the PRC. They were raised during the cultural revolution. Boomer equivalent.

I have been watching a lot of videos on youtube by two guys, one American the other South African, who lived in China for 10-12 years. They worked and biked around the country, are both completely fluent in the culture and even ended up with Chinese wives.

They seem to understand a LOT about Chinese culture, the Chinese economy, and the CCPs demonic interference in the lives of Chinese.

Just do a search on Youtube for "Laowhy" and "Serpentza", and watch their videos from the last year or two. It is insightful stuff.
Those 2 guys are smart and have lots of insights. They lived in China after I did and had a different experience. Especially Laowhy, he has a really interesting experience which made him almost have to flee the country. He was kind of a dipstick but got smarter and now has good insights. But honestly, those 2 guys are very far behind the world class and cutting edge insights regularly provided by the 2 ladies who's links I provided. Also, China Uncensored and related China Unscripted have done some cutting edge content and interviews. I've learned very much more from those 3 channels.

Fullmoon - I have started to look at the sources you provided in your links. I had been looking at the two guys I mentioned as a way primarily to learn about Chinese culture (esp the changes under Xi). I am sure I will learn more from the two ladies as well.

I certainly agree with John about US weakness. Frankly, it took what, a month - two months, for US to respond to those Houthi attacks. Response should have been immediate.

The Chinese will feel super emboldened by the Political nightmare we are about to go through with the Presidential Election. I am hoping (almost against hope) that a third option (a good one, not a Michelle Obama or RFKjr one) will appear.

The next upcoming event is really the Taiwan election this weekend.

It's certainly THE most important thing on mind. Everything else is theater.
And it does seem to be following closely enough along the schematic you've outlined. Unfortunately.

So the next US election will also be rigged?

Civil war will follow.

In 2017, the Coalition dropped just one 2000-lb bomb in the fight against ISIS — and investigated its use afterwards. In contrast, the IDF has dropped around five hundred 2000-lb bombs on Gaza. These bombs definitionally cannot surgically target terrorists; they kill or wound anyone up to 1,000 feet away.

See all of you in Hell.

** 13-Jan-2024 World View: Taiwan elections

It appears that Taiwan's current ruling
party, the DPP, has won today's election
for another term. The Chinese
Communists in Beijing had been hoping
that the KMT party would win, so this
is a big political blow to Beijing.

The DPP has historically been a
pro-independence party, and the KMT has
historically favored Taiwan being part
of mainland China (though with the KMT,
not the Communists, ruling all of
China). However, over the decades, both
parties' positions have become much more
nuanced, as two flavors of status
quo
, with closer or more distant,
respectively, relations with Beijing.

For 30 years, polls have shown that
Taiwanese people increasingly favor
independence. Xi Jinping claims that he
wants a so-called "peaceful
reunification" with Taiwan. However,
today's election results may convince
him that time is not on his side, and he
has to resort to other means.
