The main stream media is loathsome and they hate the general public for hating them for being loathsome.

What is your experience with southern culture?

I've never heard such hate.
Let's all pray that Bob frees himself from his tormenting demons in 2024.

A couple of months long trips on business to the Atlanta area and Arizona (Tombstone). I don't think a slightly longer stay in Maryland quite counts.Guest wrote: ↑Mon Jan 01, 2024 5:24 pmWhat is your experience with southern culture?
But this was well before the crisis. I can't claim to have been there when they banned books, restricted sexual groups and bussed people around. Still aware of what they do.

I'm from the South, but I lived in Cleveland for a few years. When people there learned where I was from (and they were often very educated), they sometimes said things like "you're so lucky, blacks know their place down there," or "our blacks are out of control." I had never encountered such open bigotry in the South, and it made me very uncomfortable. Butler is selling a bill of goods.

It would be best as a resolution to ignore him completely. Don't respond, don't recognize. He predicts nothing, just complains.spottybrowncow wrote: ↑Mon Jan 01, 2024 6:39 pm

Sit back and watch most of my predictions to continue to take shape.

What type of bigoted behavior did you witness when you were in Atlanta?Bob Butler wrote: ↑Mon Jan 01, 2024 7:47 pmA couple of months long trips on business to the Atlanta area and Arizona (Tombstone). Cluck
I didn't encounter blacks much if at all in the Atlanta suburbs where I worked. High class suburbs. Whites only. I'll let you judge whether that fits as bigoted. That was a while ago. Don't know how true it is anymore.Guest wrote: ↑Mon Jan 01, 2024 8:57 pmWhat type of bigoted behavior did you witness when you were in Atlanta?
Curiously, there was a Boston Chicken. It was countered by a local fried chicken place with a sign saying "Don't buy yankee chicken". The local place had the better chicken. Have we debated local vs franchised?

Yo! Georgia native here! Live in the Atlanta area!
The only place in Atlanta, where you can't swing a dead cat without hitting a black person, that has a near exclusively white population is Buckhead, on the northside.
Buckhead is a Democrat stronghold.
Make of that what you will.
