While Rome attempts to burn itself down for the benefit of the Dark Side, the real fire gets lit.

TAIPEI (Taiwan News) — The Philippine ambassador to the U.S. warned the South China Sea is where a confrontation could break out that would trigger the next world war, rather than Taiwan.

Jose Manuel Romualdez, was cited by Nikkei Asia as saying that small-scale conflicts between Philippine and Chinese ships in the South China Sea could trigger a major conflict at "any time." He said the South China Sea "is the flashpoint, not Taiwan" and warned that if "anything happens in our area, it's like the beginning of another war, world war."

China's maritime militia is a fleet of purpose-built ships used alongside the country's People's Liberation Army Navy and the . Beijing does not formally acknowledge the paramilitary force's existence and claims it comprises patriotic fishermen.

The militia's unofficial nature gives Beijing plausible deniability when the ships enter contentious territory. Observers believe the Chinese government is using the fishing boats to assert de facto control over contested areas in the South China Sea, including in the Spratly Islands archipelago where Whitsun Reef lies.

Plus Boom and Boomer.
While the periphery breaks down rather slowly at first, the capital cities of the hegemon should collapse suddenly and violently.

Zoomer said he's from New York area. I wonder if he's watched the new riveting Netflix doom and gloom movie. It's pretty riveting if you think a cyber attack is probably coming as we're told by the FBI director. It's a good movie but maybe too scary for those frightened by Doom and Gloom.

Is it too scary for those frightened by Boom?

Adapted from the 2020 novel of the same name by Rumaan Alam, and produced by Barack and Michelle Obama, Leave the World Behind follows a society that unravels after the technological infrastructure begins to collapse

Very interesting who produced it...

Just as we’ve seen in Ireland, the French gov’s response to N. Africans stabbing children is to shut down the “far right” and stamp out dissent.

You want to avoid a “civil war scenario”? How about mass repatriations and securing France’s borders.
