Could this fall under Article 5 of the North Atlantic Treaty?

News of Saudis investigating this butchery is rather like deep state, the FBI, DOJ and both house and senate investigating themselves. The journalist was either dumped over the ocean or is now taking a sand nap, perhaps in several sites.
America never learns regarding ME "allies". How many times will American military personnel be shot, bombed and missiled with American made weapons? We've heavily dabbled in Iran to our own damage and have "advisors" wandering other warring arab nations.
The sheer in-your-face of this murder is an extended middle digit to all. Salman's American visit was not unlike the Japanese ambassador before Pearl Harbor. Hmm. Air bases, American weapons. International life takes yet another ugly turn.
